I’ve been dog/cat sitting professionally for over 11 years and have owned animals my entire life (so I guess you can say well over two decades!) I absolutely love it and continue to do it as a profession. I pride myself on treating your animal as they are mine, with the utmost care and attention. I have experience training puppies & giving medicine to all animals. I’m currently working from home so I have free time to watch over dogs. I love running and hiking so I can guarantee to give your dog a nice run/walk. I live walking distance to a large park and dog park. I’m currently in a role that allows me to work anywhere and anytime. I prefer to wake up early to take the dog out and get outside. I have a fenced yard and I have a family member next door who loves doggie play dates, however their dog is getting very old now. I have an open schedule, occasional meetings in the day but plenty on time to walk or hike or focus on enrichment activities for your animals. I have an indoor/outdoor cat named Luna who doesn’t care much for dogs (she may just meow and sniff them, the occasional hiss if they get in her face). The environment is clean and pet friendly. Please let me know beforehand if your pet has an allergies I should be aware of, certain training exercises needed, or habits I should be know. Katie was absolutely wonderful with Ricky and Randy! They clearly loved her and had such a great day! Walks, thoughtful updates, and lots of care. I felt completely at ease knowing the pups were in such good hands, and it was obvious they were happy and well cared for. I’m so glad we found Katie and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again!
My husband and I were in Napa for the day and Katie took care of our German shepherd, Athena. Katie was AMAZING! We got tons of photos throughout the day, and Athena got to go on lots of walks - she clearly had a blast and I couldn't be happier with Katie's care for our furbaby. Thank you so very very much!

Katie accepted a booking to start by 8:00am. I sent her a message when I was on my way, and once I arrived with my puppy, I rang the doorbell and knocked several times. I also sent her another message through the Rover app. She didn’t respond, so I had to bring my puppy back home and leave her unsupervised for more than 7 hours so I could travel for work. When I finally heard from Katie a couple hours later, she indicated that she didn’t hear the doorbell and that she thought the booking started at 10. For this reason, I cannot recommend Katie’s services due to lack of reliability.

Schedule
I work from home and have a flexible schedule. My routine is usually waking up around between 7- 8am or so. I like to workout in the afternoons or take the dogs for a walk.

I would like the dog to be comfortable in my home or at the owners home. I always fill up their water bowls throughout the day and frequent bathroom breaks.

A typical day
I love to run and walk. I’d love to play fetch and teach them tricks. If it’s a dog with high energy i keep them mentally stimulated with games or other entertainment and enrichment activities.
