Veterinary Assistant - Avid Hiker
Hello! I have a lot of experience with animals including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, ferrets, turtles, rats, exotic birds, goats, and a tarantula or two so feel free to reach out if you have any questions about your pet. I worked as a Veterinarian Assistant in Greensboro, NC and I have been with Rover since 2018. I am a kind-hearted, patient person with lots of love to give your pets while you are away. I am an avid hiker but if she/he is more of a couch potato, that works too. I have cared for puppies, adult and senior dogs, kittens, adult and senior cats with medication needs on several occasions. Shy and senior pets are my specialties! I have two senior female dogs at home that I’ve had since they were puppies and three rambunctious short hair cats. When they were younger we would walk Battleground Park and the various trails in Eden or around the lakes in Greensboro. I am available for drop-ins and long or short walks. Play time at home is great as well and I am happy to answer questions you have. Thank you for your consideration!

Schedule
I have a full-time job in Eden, NC and work part-time with Rover. I have availability during the week and on the weekends and I travel to GSO on occasion for work and park visits.

I like to take time to get to know your pet. Setting up a routine they can get used to is important while you're away so I like to establish that with them based on what works on the first and second visit.
Pets
A typical day
String toys and playing fetch are so fun. However, I have also noticed that simply sitting and talking with shy or nervous pets really goes a long way. ❤️ If there is something they love to do most, let me know! I enjoy taking dogs for walks on sidewalks or nearby trails if they love getting out of the house. If booking for a trial hike or somewhere other than your neighborhood, I recommend booking 1 hour so we have time for travel and a good walk! I have a dog seatbelt in my suv but happy to use yours if you have one. I have to-go water containers and waste bags as well. All of those are included tools of the trade. :)

If they get along with other animals at parks for instance or if they are more solitary.
