Previous dog owner and dog fosterer
Having grown up with dogs, it was important that my children grew up around dogs. Sadly, when our family dog Kai passed, and the kids now teenagers, I decided to foster dogs instead, in the hope that I could help as many as we possibly could. Our first foster was a large and reactive Boerboel who became a lovable and gentle giant. Our second foster was a gorgeous staffie who we ended up keeping until he sadly passed. My home is now ready to be opened up for other dogs - ones that I cant keep!

Katie looked after our dog like her own. He had the absolute time of his life. We received updates as often as needed and she took the time to get to know us beforehand too. I would definitely recommend Katie and I will be looking to use her again in the future.

An amazing sitter. My dog didn't want to come home he was treated so well! It can be difficult finding a sitter who accepts larger dogs and has the suitable environment for them but Katie's house and family were perfect for my GSD Boscoe.. He'd never stayed with any other people apart from ourselves and whilst he was nervous the first few nights, Katie and her family made him feel welcome and he settled really well thanks to them and enjoyed his 17 day stay. Highly, highly recommend Katie as a sitter.
Kate was fast to reply to my messages and to answer my questions, and she was kind enough to let Peppa visit before I made a booking. I was a bit apprehensive at how Peppa would settle with a new sitter given she has separation anxiety, but upon arrival it was obvious that she immediately felt at home. Kate kept me updated throughout with pics and messages letting me know how everything was going. Couldn't have asked for more. Thanks very much, Peppa can't wait to come back!
You could not ask for someone more caring than Kate for looking after your pets. She has looked after my two dogs on numerous occasions. They are truly pampered when they stay with her. She follows their routines to the letter (and adds a few treats in of her own) . Throughout their stay she sent regular updates and photos which really put my mind at rest. She even didn’t complain when they got her up at 5am! Highly recommended.

Dates de la garde
I currently work from home so will be at home for the majority of the time. If there were times that I did need to leave, your dog would be left for now longer than 2 hours at a time.

Sécurité, confiance et environnement
I have a small enclosed garden with astroturf grass, which the dogs will have free access too. I would commit to one longer walk per day (generally after 3pm during the week). I would be happy to feed as requested and dogs are very welcome to join me on the sofa for cuddles in an evening.

I live very close to Springwater park so depending on your dogs preference, we would walk here or around the quieter roads. As I work from home, they would have company throughout the day, and in warmer weather doors will be left open for there will be free access to the garden when they want.
