I specialize in cats & guinea pigs
I may be brand new to Rover but I’m not new to caring for animals! I absolutely love cats and have had them my whole life. I’ve cared for just about every type of cat imaginable; from shy to feisty, and from kittens to senior cats needing end-of-life care. I’ve pretty much done it all. I’m also comfortable administering some medications, including pills and liquids as well as eye drops. The reality is, I low-key just want to hang out with your cats. 😂 A 30-minute drop-in is the default, but if I have the extra time, I’m often more than happy to stick around a little longer just to hang out with them. I'm also a guinea pig parent and am comfortable with guinea pig care. I'm comfortable with guinea pig handling, daily feeding, cage cleanings and fleece bedding changes. Since guinea pigs aren't listed on rover, I count 1-3 guinea pigs as the cost of 1 cat. Because, we all know, you gotta have more than 1 guinea pig 😊

Safety, trust & environment
I’ll stick to your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, water, litter cleanings, medications, and plenty of attention and play. For guinea pigs, I’m also comfortable with feeding hay, veggies, and pellets as well as spot cleaning, and keeping an eye on eating and behavior. I am less experienced with medications for guinea pigs but can learn within reason. And of course, I’ll send updates and photos!

Schedule
I work Mon-Thurs from 10am-7pm give or take an hour. The best times for drop in visits are morning or evening for me but I'm fairly flexible.
- CatsKatie can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- Please let me know what kind of personality your pets have and if they have any special needs. I would love to know their favorite toys or treats so I can give them the most comfortable experience.
