Hi, I’m Kate! Dogs have been a part of my life for over 40 years. I grew up with Labrador Retrievers, adopted my first Lab in college, later had two Yorkies, and now share my home with my sweet Miniature Australian Cobberdog. She has a calm, low-to-medium energy level and loves making new friends! I’ve been a trusted dog walker and pet sitter through Rover and Wag for more than 9 years, caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. I live in a comfortable apartment in a house in Jamaica Plain, MA, and pets are welcome on the furniture—they’re family here! We’re also close to several great parks and walking areas, so your pup will get plenty of exercise, enrichment, and outdoor time. I’m also experienced with cats, having cared for two cats for nearly 17 years while growing up. My schedule: * Friday–Sunday: I’m home full-time. * Monday–Thursday: I’m away for about 3 hours total each day, and I typically have a pet sitter stay with my own dog during that time. I know how important it is to trust someone with your beloved pet, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I promise to treat your dog or cat as if they were my own—with lots of attention, affection, playtime, and cuddles.
