Special skills: Trained to administer insulin to diabetic dogs. Have worked with blind dog/cats, elderly dogs/cats, deaf dogs/cats, anxious and rescue dogs/cats. I don’t just love animals, I love caring for them and making them feel safe. I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid, but more recently I’ve been the family dog sitter for anyone who needs one and professionally have grown so much in the past 10+ years.

Katie is going to be housesitting with my 12 year old lab and 1 year old hound mix when I leave town over Christmas. The 1 year old was adopted from a rescue a couple of months ago and even though she has made great progress adjusting, she is still very distrustful of people she doesn't know. Katie is coming a couple of time of week to bond with her and hopefully take her for a walk very soon. My lab already adores her. Katie is very calm and understanding of dogs with special circumstances. Animals are her passion and she wants to work with them full time even though she has a degree. She has experience working with dogs who are blind and who are on medicine for diabetes. She is very open and willing.

Schedule
I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time and am a homebody as well to care for your pets in all the free time I have.
