I have had dogs in my family for as long as I can remember - mutts, goldens, even a very talkative chihuahua - I loved them all! Friends call me to watch their pets often. I am comfortable with every breed of dog, and cats tend to snuggle me or judge me - I’m fine with either!

I will take my lead from you and your pet. If it’s active and likes walks or to play, I am happy to do that. I always make sure that there is water in the bowl, and that feeding times are followed.

Katie was great with my cat, Daisy! I hate leaving my cat for more than a day, but Katie took great care of her, and I came home to a clean house and a happy, nonstressed-out cat. She got plenty of attention and playtime, and sent me updates while I was gone, making me feel reassured. Katie is the best!

Katie is a true dog lover, with the right mix of compassion and command that dogs need. She grew up with dogs, and formed a special bond with each family dog. She knows how to read various dogs and all kinds of canine behavior. I would recommend Katie as a caregiver for any dog owner concerned about the care of their pet.

Schedule

I am currently working as a virtual assistant, with travel to help some clients on-site. I can easily make walks, feedings, day-care and over night stays fit into this schedule.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or accommodations, or if there are special circumstances I should be aware of - like pulling, or not appreciating meeting new dogs on a walk. My focus is the dog that I am walking, and making sure they are safe and comfortable!
