I work at Virginia Tech with a large Living-Learning Community. My schedule can be pretty flexible and a bit of a question mark most days. However my Monday through Friday schedule can look something like what I have laid out below. Monday: 9-12,3-5 Tuesday: 9-12,1-4 Wednesday: 9-12,1-4 Thursday: 9-12,1-4,6-7 Friday: 9-12,1-4

A typical day
I love to stick to your dogs daily routine as much as possible. I tend to ask what a typical day looks like for your animal and adapt my day to theirs. I have done 4-5 walks a day with play time in between with some animals and others I will play outside with no walks. I know it can be stressful on your animal with a new person so I try to make my time with them as smooth as possible.

Pet care experience
I have grown up with multiple dogs! I’ve cared for them for as long as I can remember and have been responsible for caring for others animals for many years. I recently just moved away from my two Labrador Retrievers who are 4 and I miss them dearly. Both are very high energy and one with a very anxious/skittish personality. I want to be able to keep animals a constant in my life as they bring me the most joy. I treat all animals as if they were my own! I have a highly anxious rescue dog who can be easily scared by many things. I have been working with him on behavioral training and have the knowledge and skill set to help with your anxious pup as well! A lot of my rebooking occur outside of rover but that is what the owner prefers to do (:

Katie is phenomenal! She is super kind, caring, very communicative, and responsible. Most importantly, our cat Finn loved her and took to her immediately! We have only left Finn alone overnight a few times in his life but felt completely at ease leaving for almost a week knowing he was in great hands with Katie. She also took immaculate care of our home and everything was just as we left it! We will definitely be working with Katie in the future as long as she is available. Highly, highly recommend!
Katie treated our pup like her own dog!!l She was very caring and took him for lots of walks and made sure to cuddle! Our dog adores her and I knew he had a great time in her care!
Katie was fantastic! We left our dog with her for a Hokie game and meeting her for the very first time I immediately felt our pup was in great hands. He is sometimes unsure of others but went right to her and settled right in. So easy. She is caring, attentive and communicates regularly. I would highly recommend her to others. So happy I found her!
Katie is a great pet and house sitter! I just moved to the area with 2 cats, and unfortunately had to go on a work trip soon after. She came a couple of times while I was in town to get to know the cats then house sat while I was gone. I could tell right away things would be good as she was patient with the cats and the more social one was already warming up to her on her first visit. She texted me photo and text updates throughout her stay, and left the apartment just as clean when she left. Great communication, great with the cats, and I highly recommend, 5 stars all around!!
