I am a complete dog person. All I want is for dogs to enjoy their time with me! I have a lot of energy and am a fitness freak, so your pet will get loads of exercise with me (assuming they don't have any injuries that would limit that). I've been dog sitting and walking for the past 6 years, and I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I work remotely so I am available during the day almost always (barring meetings and the occasional trip to the office). When sitting your pup(s), we will primarily stay at my apartment, but I have access to a fenced-in yard two blocks away. We'll spend many evenings and most weekends there! I look forward to hanging and entertaining your adorable and amazing pups! :)

This was our first visit with Katie with our second dog and it went great! He’s still very young and requires a lot of attention but Katie was on top of it. Merlin and Newton had a great time!
Katie took such great care of our dog! Fantastic communication throughout the process including some great pupdates. We always felt like Pepper was cared for and in great hands. Katie is the best and we absolutely will work with her again!

Because I’m working remotely, I’m always looking for excuses to get out and walk around, and why not include caring for some amazing animals during that time?

I have a fenced yard which your pup can hang out in. I’m happy to follow whatever schedule will make your fur baby the most comfortable. I’m often home working, so they’ll never be without company.
A typical day
I’m a fitness fanatic, so your pup will go on plenty of walks while staying with me, and I love a good tug of war match. I walk Roosevelt Island daily, and I’m sure any fur baby would love a jaunt in the woods!
