Hey there, I'm Katie! As a Fish and Wildlife Technician, caring for animals comes second nature to me. That being, said as a pet owner myself I understand life can get pretty busy, and a kind helping hand to take care of your pet is always appreciated. I do have volunteer experience working at an animal shelter and wildlife rehabilitation center. My most recent job as a Bird Control Technician kept me quite busy caring for raptors for 16 hours a day, so I have a lot of love and patience for both domestic and wild animals. I provide meaningful visits and well structured walks, during which I can provide you with little video updates on your pets walk or home visits. Each service is customized to your pets needs and wellbeing. I'll make sure your fluffy pal is comfortable, safe, and happy by treating them like they are my own. I am very flexible and I spend alot of my time outside. I could always appreciate having a little buddy to keep me company on my hikes or walks around the neighbourhood. If you have a cat, I can help keep the little one happy and healthy by producing some enrichment activities or whatever your fur pal needs, even if it's some company or just some good old scratches! I do have alot of experience with both cats and dogs, but if you need help with any other animals such as fish, birds, or reptiles please let me know as I do have some experience with them as well. I'd be happy to help, even down to the smallest of jobs such as filling up your bird feeder so you have lots of feathered friends to meet you when you get home! Katie is great! I've had her drop in multiple times and have never had a single issue. She always send lots of picture and updates when she visits. She ensures our dog ate and went to the washroom. She's very considerate and makes sure our door is locked when she leaves. Definitely recommend her and will continue to use her for drop in visits.
This is the second time I had Katie checking on my cat Sam. Amazing experience like before. She is always on time, very reliable, friendly and professional. Highly recommended.
Katie was incredibly kind and easy to work with. She was early to each of the visits that we had scheduled and she was supportive of flexibility with meet and greet visits and key drop-off situations. I would gladly trust Katie to take care of my pets again.
Katie is amazing! She has excellent attention to detail, is very kind, and maintains a professional attitude. She visited my kitty for five days and was always on time without exception. Katie followed my instructions with great care, took lovely photos of my kitty during every visit, and left thorough notes after each one. I feel lucky to have found Katie, especially after my previous sitter on Rover was not a great experience. I will definitely have her check on my pets in the future and highly recommend her services to everyone!
Katie really went above and beyond my expectations when she cat sit for us. I had her do drop in visits while we were away on vacation. She did everything I asked and more. She updated me with photos every day of the cleaned litter boxes and of her playing with my 3 cats. I felt confident and at ease having Katie house sit for us while we were away. She is definitely going to be the one I hire going forward.
