Just an animal person w/ a big yard
I am a middle aged wife and mother who relates better to dogs, cats, and birds than people. ;-) I have had many kinds of pets over my lifetime and I am familiar with all aspects of caring for animals. My husband and I have five kids ages 13-19 so between the seven of us we dote on the dogs here constantly and they are well cared for and played with constantly!

Katie did a great job with both of our dogs! We had daily updates and photos, and the dogs came home happy and healthy. Highly recommend!
Katie was so good with our pup. I almost feel like our pup was sad to leave! She was very accomodating to our schedule, fed him his specialized food, and sent us updates while we were gone on our trip. We absolutely will be using her for boarding again in the future.

Katie was amazing at dealing with a really crazy set of circumstances surrounding our pup! She was great at administering medicine and when the medicine made our dog sick to her stomach she was on top of it and had us call the vet so she could pick up something that would help our pup. She was so great to work with and has been a lifesaver the last half a dozen times she's watched our pup! Super caring, knowledgeable and quick to communicate when something might be up.
Katie’s family was great with Gus, helped him feel at home and get him comfortable in a new space with new friends.

I am a stay at home mom. This gives me a lot of flexibility to care for our family members (and hopefully a few of yours).

We love watching dogs and as a bonus it keeps our dogs well socialized and friendly! We try our best to stay organized and on schedule. We have a large fenced yard to give them room to run and play, and of course take care of business.
Pets
A typical day
Our dogs love to chase a ball; more than once we have had dogs go home from a stay with newly acquired fetching skills. I love playing with the dogs and having a reason to be in our yard. We do enjoy walks on the Jordan River Trail next to our neighborhood when our guest pups have good leash manners.
