Home full time pet sitter
I am home full time with your pup! I do not work outside of the home and will only leave for a few hours max at any time. I have experience taking care of senior pups, high energy pups, puppies, and pups with special needs. Your pup is welcome to ANY part of our home and never has to be crated (unless desired) locked up in a room, or alone. We have a large dog door to a fully fenced (6 foot fence) in back yard with secure doors. I am a former flight attendant at United Airlines of 18 years, so I am an elite level safety professional. I have a Master's in Nutrtion from George Mason University. I speak French and hold a Modern Foreign Languages degree from James Madison University. I am currently home as a stay at home Mom/student at UVA graduate school of my 7 year old daughter and two poodles, who are family and treated with compassion and affection. We are active with our dogs and walk them twice daily (your dog will not be under exercised)! I love young rowdy dogs and mature, wise pups who need extra care and attention. I am in my forties and a Mom, so I am mature, extremely responsible, and safety is my priority. I promise to LOVE your dog like my own baby while you are away and give plenty of updates. I will happily accomodate special requests. My two poodles get along with other dogs, but are pretty low energy and not aggressive to other dogs at all.

Katie is a wonderful dogsitter - she's caring, diligent, and responsible. Our dog loved staying with Katie and thoroughly enjoyed the having run of the house and fenced backyard. Katie sent photos and updates throughout the stay so we knew our dog was in good hands and having a great time. We will absolutely be reaching out to Katie to petsit again!

Schedule
I am home full time. My pups are family...not pets and yours will be treated the same. Your pup will get plenty of exercise with daily walks/twice or more per day. I also take pups to the dog parks where they can be off leashed. I was extremely worried to leave my baby with a sitter. I will treat your fur baby as family and give them lots of love and attention...just like you do! Dogs are a JOY!

We have a fenced in back yard with a large dog door. I am home full time, so your pup will never be alone. Multiple walks daily. Dog parks and swimming if allowed by dog parent.
Pets
A typical day
For young, high energy pups (We have had three in the last 15 years), we will do walks of at least 60 minutes twice per day and daily outings to off leash dog areas (if your dog is a fan). They will get tons of exercise! If you have a senior dog (I have had two in the last five years)...I have a lot of experience. We will take it easy with short walks twice per day (or none if your dog is chronically ill. I have had two dogs with serious late life diseases and have extensive experience with medications and limiting strenuous activity. I also do not mind dogs with potty training issues! It does not bother me at all! Chewing is not a big deal, rowdy pups are awesome to me!
