I was a vet tech for 6 years and I missed caring for animals that’s why I became a Rover pet sitter. I know it’s hard to leave your furry friends behind and I want to assure you that I will give them all the love, attention and respect they deserve until you come back. Medications are not an issue I’ve given everything under the sun being a vet tech and even to my own animals. Please reach out with any questions!

I love being outside and going for walks even when it’s cold so getting your dog(s) out multiple times a day is no issue. I can easily stick to a schedule if your pet has one or we can lounge on the couch and snuggle. I adapt to any situation! My daughter does come with me for visits from time to time, she is 6 years old and wants to be a veterinarian one day. Loving and helping animals is her current passion along with doing her own makeup and changing her outfits 5 times a day. (Haha)

Katie is an amazing caretaker for our senior pup. She is so kind and he loves her so much! We can leave him with peace of mind that he is well taken care of and so loved. She communicates thoroughly with pics and messages of what he’s up to during the day and makes sure he’s getting some exercise and meds. Thank you Katie for loving our Kingston so well!

Katie has been absolutely amazing and we are so so thankful for her. She took care of our senior pup Kingston while we were away for 10 days. She was super communicative about his well being, their time together and his daily meds. She sent multiple pictures every day so we could see our sweet boy. It was such a relief to find such a wonderful caretaker for him. Katie we are so so grateful for you, thank you for taking care of our silly ‘old’ man and going above and beyond with his care (and even getting mail/packages too!)
We loved having Katie come and take care of our kitties! She came by once per day and gave prompt updates and I know she really liked our babies! Even the one that is a little "spicy." She didn't have to, but took the initiative to vacuum up a hairball that one of the kitties must have dropped while playing. We really appreciated the care she gave to them! We would highly recommend!

Schedule
I currently work part time at a veterinary clinic in north Knoxville so my schedule is flexible. When I am not at work, my daughter, husband and I enjoy gardening at home, walking our two dogs and exploring the outdoors. I am available most weekends, week days and holidays.
