I am a baker! I get up at 3:30am, come home by 2:30pm, and aim to be asleep by 7:30pm. I'm happy to drop in for your pet in the afternoon/early evening M-F and to arrange twice-per-day care on the weekends. If you're unsure how our schedules can fit together, feel free to just reach out and ask!

Naturally, I follow all routine care for pets, including brushing/bathing. I also provide routine household upkeep while the family is away, such as plant care, dishwashing, vacuuming, taking out trash, picking up mail etc. I am here to keep your home running like normal while you are away.

Please let me know if there are any special considerations, such as your pet not liking men, or always needing to say hello to a friend on a specific corner. Please also let me know of any dietary restrictions to observe in your house. I don't wish to unknowingly walk into a nut-free house with peanut butter crackers in my purse, for example.

I allow the pets to show me what their favorite activities are. Sometimes, it's long, sniff-filled walks. Sometimes, it's zoomies with a ball in the backyard. Sometimes, it's just chasing a string or getting a really good back scratching. I'm here to listen and play along.

Hello! I'm Katie. I have been taking care of pets across the country since 2009. Over the last 15 years, I have worked with numerous breeds of all ages, sizes, coat varieties, exercise levels, and medication/special care needs. I always approach new pets with patience and allow them to build our friendship on their terms (but we do always end up best friends). My main focus is always taking worry away from pets and families alike, so that everyone can enjoy a fun and relaxing time. In addition to dogs, I have worked with many cats (often in the same household, but also on their own), rodents, fish, household birds, and chickens. Though we never want to encounter an emergency situation, I have become well-versed in life's surprises over the years, from puppy sicknesses to bruised tails. No matter what, I stay in contact with the family and give their pets the best care possible until they return.
