Currently working in a hybrid role meaning I'm always at home Mondays, Fridays and often one other day, I also have availability on weekends. My working hours are 9am-5:30 and can take breaks to walk and play but I also have to ensure my work gets done so best suited to animals who can sit independently while I'm working. Feel free to speak with me about your pets individual needs.

I have a two bedroom flat with a large living space and balcony with high glass edges overlooking Hackney Marshes. Your pet can have free roam of the space and watch the birds from the balcony or cosy up on the sofa, then enjoy long (or short) walks around the Marshes. I live with my boyfriend James who is also an animal lover and keen walker and runner (see last photo of James and good boy Rio).

A typical day
I live on the edge of Hackney Marshes and not far from Victoria Park, so lots of time spent running and playing in nature. We love meeting friends out and about as much as we enjoy snuggles on the sofa.

Pet care experience
I'm lucky to have years of experience caring for all kinds of dogs with different personalities, routines and needs. A bit about me, I grew up with a rescue Labrador, a Collie cross and a Miniature Schnauzer (along with cats and small pets) who all gave me a love of animals and solid experience in pet care. I understand that all dogs come with a unique set of needs and can tailor my care to them individually. Taking care of other peoples pets is a privilege I take very seriously, I can ensure my home is a loving, clean and safe place for your pet. There will also be plenty of fun and engagement. I'm an active person, enjoy walks along the canal or runs around Hackney Marshes. If your dog is lucky they might even get a weekend walk around Epping Forest.

Katie was so considerate and attentive with Freddie’s needs and stay. Great communication as we arranged timings and dates, even with slight changes from my side. She was warm and welcoming, as well as her space to him, and they became besties quickly. I got pictures and was kept up to date which was great. I will certainly trust Freddie’s care to Katie again and again if she’ll have us ;)

Katie and James took excellent care of our border collie with plenty of updates, flexibility around drop off and pick up times and proactive about getting to know Meeko so he was comfortable in their lovely home. We got Meeko back tired out from all his adventures and looking calm and content! Will definitely be back again if we need help with Meeko Care!
