Beach, big back yard and dogs!
I have been a foster for Save-A-Lab animal rescue for many years, caring for puppies, young dogs, older dogs (and challenging dogs) in my home for days/weeks/months at a time. I have two of my own dogs (10yo Lab/hound mix and 2yo Lab/Great Dane mix) that get on well with other animals and welcome them into our home. I have older children (age range 16-23) who also love dogs/animals and are very helpful when we have them in our home - helping to socialize, walk, feed and train them. I currently work from home and am available through out the day to care for, socialize, exercise, feed, play with and love on your dog! I have a large back yard (not fenced) and my two dogs are trained not to leave it (which is helpful when new dogs are with them as they tend to follow them). I can leash dogs for play/bathroom breaks in my yard when necessary. We live near the beach so I am able to walk dogs in my neighborhood, on the rocks near the water or on the beach - whichever is most enjoyable and accessible for each animal.

Katie was incredible! My husky felt so comfortable with her right away and afterward at pickup he couldn’t have looked happier! Katie also took great pics and provided updates during her watch which made me feel very at ease. HIGHLY recommended!
Katie, you are fantastic! Please use Katie for your dog sitting needs. She not only sent daily/weekly updates but she texted sweet pictures and took our dog everywhere. I actually thought my dog would not want to come home because of how loving this family was to our Lexi girl. Katie was also very attentive to our dogs special diet due to her kidney disease. Lexi seemed to have a good time and I will definitely trust her to Katie if we ever need a dog sitter again. Thanks, Katie and family!
Katie & her girls were simply amazing!! She & her sweet Daughters took our overly energetic Bernadoodle on many walks, to soccer games etc.... while they sit her for 4 days last weekend. Katie was super accommodating, I was able to pick my puppy up to hang with her for a while and drop her back, basically whatever worked for us worked for Katie. She sent text updates regularly with the cutest photos and her dogs were amazing playmates. I honestly think my puppy missed them all when she came home. It was such a relief to have a home away from home for my pup, I wouldn’t hesitate to use Katie again.
