Hi, we’re Katie and Lee — lifelong animal people with years of experience rescuing, fostering, owning, and caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs. Animals have always been a huge part of both of our lives. Katie started pet-sitting and dog-walking for neighbors around age 10, later worked with a groomer and at a veterinary clinic, and began fostering rescue dogs in college. Together, we’ve continued rescuing, fostering, pet-sitting, and building our lives around animals - including our own rescue dogs, who are very much family. Between the two of us, we’re comfortable with everything from energetic puppies and big, strong dogs to shy or sensitive rescues and seniors who need a slower pace. We have experience with different temperaments and behavioral needs, medications, special diets, and pets who simply need a little more patience and understanding. We know that every animal is different, and we’re happy to follow your routines and meet your pet where they are. More than anything, we genuinely love spending time with animals. Our own dogs get daily walks and plenty of outdoor time, and with trails right near our home, we can offer anything from an easy neighborhood stroll to a forest walk, trail run, or serious game of fetch - depending on what your dog loves. When your pet is with us, we want them to feel safe, understood, loved, and as much at home as possible. And with two experienced animal lovers in the house, there’s no shortage of attention, affection, walks, or someone around to keep them company.

Another winning experience with Katie. It’s outstanding to come home to a clean house and a tired dog. We always know that Smokey is having a good experience from all the pictures we get, but he even acts like he didn’t even miss us when we return from a trip. That’s great peace of mind.

Katie was amazing. From the initial meet and greet, where she made an instant connection with our dog, we knew that it was going to be a good fit to have her care for Smokey and our home. We got pictures and updates during our time away, and the fact that Smokey ate voraciously at every meal serves as a good indicator that he was very comfortable with Katie. We returned to a home as clean as we left it and a dog happy to see us, but also acting as if we had never been gone. Some people just seem to get animals better than others, although it’s not always easy to determine that up front. Katie made a good impression and delivered up to and beyond our hopes. We would definitely use her again and recommend her highly for dog care.

Each and every dog that has had the pleasure of meeting Katie wants to take her home. And the feeling is mutual! Her sensitive, warm and caring nature shines through whenever she has the opportunity to meet a pup for the first time. She is patient, loving and sensitive. The perfect combination for a responsible caregiver. I can't recommend Katie strongly enough; you will love her as much as your pup!!
I would only allow Katie to pet sit my 2 dogs because I trust her completely. Katie treats her own 2 dogs as if they are her children and takes care of my two pups as if they are her own. Trusting your pet sitter with your most loved creatures is absolutely paramount so why not have the most conscientious, dedicated, kind and gentle person in charge of that!! Katie is one of those people that all pets love from the moment they meet her.

Schedule
Our schedules intertwines seamlessly with pet care. Working a remote role for an engineering firm, and a hybrid role for the hospital, we’re home often, ensuring your pet receives all the love and attention throughout the day. We integrate our personal exercise with walking and running the dogs, making sure they get plenty of physical activity (along with myself). Our evenings are dedicated to what I love most - showering your pets with love and attention.
