I am happy to provide animal care all week, but again, I do have longer work days Monday through Thursday so your pets need to be able to handle longer potty breaks. We can do a walk in the morning before work if needed, and a walk after work as well. The evening will have plenty of ear scratches and belly rubs!

A typical day includes walks along the river with new smells and sights, either after I go to work, before, or both, depending on time of year. There are lots of snuggles and treating your pets as my own.

Pet care experience
I have been caring for animals since I was very small, taking my love and passion for all kinds of creatures and making it my profession. I am currently a veterinary technician and have yet to meet an animal I wasn't a fan of! I have extensive experience and training in the animal field, especially with dogs, cats and equines and I am comfortable and qualified in administering medication or dealing with any special circumstances your sweet babies may have. I have some experience in training as well, and have trained my own dog to be a certified therapy dog. I should also add that I care for other animals as well: horses, goats, pigs, chickens, or any other farm friends you may have! Right now I work four 10 hour days (Mon-Thurs), so your animals would have to be able to wait for a potty break. Otherwise, weekends are easier to provide undivided attention and maximum fun!

Katie took care of our dog Addy for an extended stay of 9 days. Addy had a fantastic time. She was treated to her favorite activity of swimming daily in the river. And she got to join Katie in meeting new animal and people friends. Addy was well cared for, thank you Katie!
Katie was wonderful with all our animals!
Katie has taken great care of my Springer Spaniel "Sadie" on several occasions, including caring for her while she wore a collar due to stitches that needed to heal. I like that Katie treats her like one of her family, taking her to work, etc. Sadie definitely wants to stay with Katie when I need to board her.
Katie was great and Elvis had a great time!!
