Playmate for your pup
Lifelong dog lover based on the Upper East Side. I’ve spent 8 years taking care of the beautiful black lab in my profile pic - she’s my best pal and I see her very often! Other repeat friends include a 75lb pittie who’s VERY dog-aggressive but loves to smother me with kisses, a playful Corgi mix, an opinionated poodle, and the white fluff ball who’s a complete maniac but super loving. Lots of experience with dogs of all sizes (5lb to 100+), ages (puppy to senior), and temperaments, including pups with high levels of energy, anxiety, and aggression. You can never have too many four-legged friends, and frequent travel keeps me from having a pet full-time, so I've got a lot of love waiting to be shared. Big fan of long walks, playtime, scratches, and snuggles!

Katie was wonderful with my sweet girl. She took her on great walks and fun park adventures, stayed on top of all of her medications and supplements, and treated her with so much care and attention. I also really appreciated the regular updates, photos, and videos throughout her stay, which gave me complete peace of mind. It was clear Eshe was happy, well cared for, and enjoying herself. I would absolutely book with Katie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, reliable, and caring sitter.

Katie walked my pup Romeo for the first time and she was amazing! I left a key out for her and she came in perfectly. She was so gentle and talked to Romeo like he was her own, which instantly made him comfortable. You can tell she really loves dogs!! Romeo warmed up to her so fast! Definitely booking her again - we loved her 💛🐾

Available for short- or long-term stays at your place or mine - love having a temporary furry roommate! And freelance work means that most of my weekdays are flexible for walks or drop-in visits, set up in advance or last minute.

Safety, trust & environment
It’s my goal to make your dog feel comfortable, happy, and safe. I’ll of course adhere to any routines you have (crates, gates, medicine, etc). When sitting/boarding, I like to be at home with them as much as possible so that they won’t feel lonely or anxious.
A typical day
My time is your dog's time and he/she will get plenty of playtime at home, walks around the neighborhood, quality time in the dog park (if your dog is friendly with other dogs), and infinite belly rubs!
