I grew up on a small farm with dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, etc. I have always owned very high-energy dogs like German Shorthairs, Australian Shepherds, and border collie mixes so I am no stranger to lots of walks, play time, giving dogs a job, and more. My dog Jasmine was a rescue who was very reactive towards other dogs and people and had lots of anxiety. I started training her as a puppy however, and even with her having some behavior issues we won many 4-H shows and qualified for states several times. Hence, I have lots of experience handling sweet dogs who just need a little extra caution and attention around others and keeping a close eye on body language and signs. Growing up I was responsible for my own pets including my dog and the horses, and now I work at an equestrian center during the school year so I am no stranger to work and responsibilities, especially when it comes to caring for an animal. I have also cared and watched many dogs and cats of friends and family and friends of my parents, so I have taken care of many different types pets.

Katie did a wonderful job house sitting our three dogs for a few days. She followed all care instructions and provided updates on the pups. Will definitely use in the future when we need another dog sitter!

Katie was prompt, kind and knowledgeable. She immediately bonded with our 13 month old high energy male Australian Shepherd. He responded to her as if he’d known her forever. He followed all her commands and walked appropriately on leash without hesitation. During her 5 hours here with Wrigley they took many walks, played fetch, did some agility work and did “find it”. They had a great time. He was pleasantly exhausted when I returned home! Thank you again Katie for a wonderful experience! We will definitely hire you again!!
Katie did a wonderful job taking care of our 6 year old dog while we were out of town. Our dog takes a long time to feel comfortable with new people, but she warmed up to Katie’s outgoing & friendly demeanor instantly. It was comforting to know Bailey was well taken care of while we were gone. We would absolutely boom with Katie again & highly recommend her to others!
Katie has been training dogs since she was 8 and loves working with them. Her experience training dogs in obedience, rally, and agility gives her a skill set to work and care dogs with different temperaments and personalities. Dogs love Katie! She is also very reliable and can be counted on to show up.

Schedule
I’m a college student attending Clemson University, and I am home for the summer so my schedule is very flexible. I can take care of pets on a short notice and spend lots of time with them if they need the extra attention!
