Katie can look after
Availability
I currently work part time so some days I can spend a majority of the day caring for your baby when I’m not walking my own dog while other days I will only be able to spend a limited time focused on walks/drop-ins/house sits. But that will all be discussed and laid out before I agree to be your sitter. My dog can also walk and play with your dog if you would like them to meet prior and they get along.

Safety, trust & environment
I will follow your instructions to a T to care for your pets to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I will care for free-roaming or crated dogs, cook homemade meals, and give as much space or love to your little ones as they want.
Information Katie G. would like to know about your pet
I’m not picky about the animals I work with, I just need to know everything about them so that I can prepare and make sure that your baby is setup for success and properly cared for while you’re gone.
A typical day
I like to make sure that the pet is fulfilled in whatever way they need to be. I’m willing to take a short walk around the block, play a game of fetch in the yard, cuddle on the couch, do training games, prepare puzzle feeders, or go for a hike.

Pet care experience
I’ve babysat dogs (including Jack Russel terriers, French bulldogs, and shelter dogs) growing up and have been raising my own puppy for about a year. I have experience cooking dogs homemade meals and raising and training a large high energy breed puppy in over 30 tricks. I also have my own cat and grew up caring for cats and kittens, even training one in basic tricks such as sit and high five. I also have experience with other animals such as birds (having my own growing up as well as pet sitting others birds), guinea pigs (pet sitting), bunnies (having my own growing up), fish (having my own growing up as well as pet sitting others fish), and snakes (pet sitting). I have experience giving medications such as oral (pills and liquid), eye/ear drops, and inhalers. I can also do baths and nail trims for additional fees.

Katie did a great job!!

Katie is a great sitter! She leaves great notes and takes sweet pictures. We always come back to happy kitties!

Wow. Katie was the very best ever. She really cared about our kitty and sent pictures everyday. She is truly an asset to rover

Katie has been absolutely amazing with Cas, he’s a bit of a tough cookie requiring lots of patience due to him being older and partially deaf/blind. Me being chronically ill and working with long commutes, Katie has been a lifesaver and accommodated last minute requests! Highly recommend.
