My name is Katie and I am a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet sitter who treats your pets like family!! I offer house sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and personalities (including shy, anxious, and reactive pets). Whether your pet needs a walk, some playtime, a meal, or just company while you’re away, I’m here to help! Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs, cats, a guinea pig, a gerbil, and even frogs—and now I’m a proud pet parent to three animals with very big personalities. Lola is my cuddle buddy, Finn keeps me laughing, and Chase, our rescue pup, has taught me so much about patience, trust, and the needs of reactive dogs. Chase came to us as a parvo survivor, and after breaking his paw as a puppy, he missed out on key socialization. With the help of vets and trainers, we’ve worked through his challenges and I’ve gained valuable experience working with reactive and anxious pets. I currently work full-time in mental health and education, fields that have strengthened my natural compassion, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility. I bring those same qualities to every pet I care for. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to send updates, photos, or videos so you can relax knowing your pets are in safe hands. I also travel often so I know firsthand how hard it is to leave your fur children behind. I’m also comfortable administering medications, following special routines, and caring for multiple pets. Whether your pet needs snuggles, structure, or just a friendly face, I’ll make sure they’re loved and cared for like one of my own. Let me know how I can help you and your pets!!

I have a reactive dog and two cats of my own who are my whole world! I volunteer at a local animal shelter and am a life-long animal lover. I will treat your pets like my own and make sure they are loved and cared for to the best of my ability!

Katie was able to step in at the last minute to sit for me when the original sitter canceled. I was stressed to be starting over, but she was available, responsive, and very nice. She met Loki once per day for two days ahead of staying with him for the weekend and he instantly took to her. She sent me photos and reassurance that all was well. I can’t say enough good things. I felt totally confident that Loki was in great hands and that let me relax and enjoy my little vacation. I hope that Katie will come stay with him again in the future!

Schedule
During the school year, I am able to work evenings and weekends. I am available to work all day during the summer months and holidays as well!
