I am self employed and very flexible with working hours. My work space/office has a large garden surrounding it which would be ideal for toilet breaks, walks and play throughout the day. Your dog would be walked twice a day during the week. During the day, I will be at my office space which is situated in a large garden and surrounded by countryside with many dog walking routes. By night dogs will get a walk around our local area or country park. At weekends Josh and I like to spend time outdoors on walks, hikes and exploring national trust grounds which are dog friendly.

We have a fenced garden for toilet breaks and will ensure any dog gets to stretch its legs throughout the day. Dogs will be crated if necessary and we do have a large crate which can be used up to medium sized dogs. Dogs will sleep downstairs but will be allowed upstairs during the day.

We do need to know any behaviours before taking your dog on, we can work with lots of things if we are fully aware of them in advance. E.g. Separation anxiety, dog or human reactivity… We will need to know commands used, if they can be off lead with excellent recall, crated etc..
A typical day
We love to play ball games outside and with scent work games or to have treats/ food in a Kong for those dogs needing more enrichment. Walks will incorporate some training and also lots of sniffing. If my partner and I are heading off for the weekend for an outdoor adventure or hike, we would love to bring your dog along.

Pet care experience
My very first job was a dog walker for family and friends dogs. Family and friends have continued to rely on me over the years to walk, feed, bathe and board their pets while away for short or long periods of time. I have cared for dogs of larger and smaller breeds.

Best Rover experience to date! Katie and her partner were so great with Moo. They took her everywhere with them-- on walks, into town, to the pub-- and I had every confidence that she was being doted on and well looked after while we were away. Katie sent me photos and videos every day and was happy to have me over for a meet and greet beforehand. I really couldn't recommend Katie enough-- a lovely person and a great caretaker for Moo.
