Safety, trust & environment
My garden is fully fenced off with plenty of room to run around. I live next to a field which is very convenient for walking a dog. I do have a dog in my home but he is very friendly.
Information Katie F. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know before hand what level they are on when it comes to training e.g if they have their recall and how they walk on a lead. If your pup doesn’t have a recall I do own a long line so your pup will still be able to have a run around! I would also like to know if your pup is reactive in any aspect weather that be towards people or other dogs.
A typical day
I love to provide lots of simulation for dogs of any sort. My favourite kind of mental stimulation to provide is sensory stimulation, more specifically scent work. I love seeing dogs working with their nose and I find it fascinating observing them displaying their natural foraging behaviour. I also enjoy providing occupational stimulation in which I would provide different puzzles or even teaching them tricks

Pet care experience
I have a distinction in level 2 animal care and I also have completed other additional courses relevant to animal care such as Pet anxiety, canine separation anxiety, canine nutrition and its relevance to behaviour and a higher certificate in Canine first aid. I worked in a doggy daycare as a supervisor for 2 years whist there I supervised the dogs (where there were up to 50), performed health checks, provided mental stimulation and enrichment and performed training. The training I provided varied from each dog as each had their own training plan. Some examples of training I provided with the help of a qualified trainer were: desensitisation (counter- conditioning on a human reactive dog), trick training, recall training, obedience training and scent work. All training I have provided was strictly positive reinforcement. During my time working at the doggy daycare I would look after some of the pups at home too. I have also worked at another doggy daycare for a year and done dog walking/ outside of this also. I have experience with dogs all sizes and temperaments. I own a 2 year old male Labrador called Rudy.
