FULL TIME LICENSED PET SITTER 🐶
Please read entirely - Hi I’m Katie! Two years ago I left my assistant manager position at Veterinary Group of Chesterfield in the boarding department to watch dogs full time! I have my Animal Welfare Assistant certificate through the humane society, animal control and APA. I have traveled across the country to the HSUS Animal Care Expo conference to further educate myself about animal care. I have many references, and have many years of experience with animal care. As a dog mom myself, I know how hard it is to leave our fur babies when we go on vacation. My main goal as a pet sitter is to give you peace of mind knowing that your dog is receiving the best care while you are on vacation or even while you are at work! That means daily pictures (and occasionally videos) of your dog playing, napping, and having the best time!

Katie is amazing and our go-to sitter! She's super nice and understanding and our boys love her and have so much fun every time they stay over. We live further away but it is 100% worth the drive.
Katie once again did a wonderful job taking care of our pups and she was willing to work with us to figure out pickup when there was a snow storm warning. Our dogs always are happily tired when we pick them up. Communication is professional. A constant stream of pictures of our dogs. Very reliable. She will always be our go-to sitter for longer vacations because her and her assistant are great!

This trip was the first time i boarded my two cats. One is almost 20 and a diabetic and other is about 14. They took to her immediately even to the point of not wanting to leave. She communicated with pictures and texts to let me know how they were doing which i really appreciated. I really can’t say enough about Katie and I will definitely be using her again anytime I need to board my kitties.
Our pup was in great hands with Katie during our week-long vacation! She has an accommodating set-up that lets your dog play and relax as if they were in their own home with their own fenced in yard. Nala had a great time and we had peace of mind that she was in a great environment.

Schedule
Pet sitting is my full-time job - I offer Doggy Daycare and Boarding in my home. I have a large, fully fenced back yard with plenty of room to run and play. I can host up to 11 dogs per night per my license, so it is extremely important that your dog is friendly and gets along well with other dogs. I take dogs with all different energy levels, and have the space to separate lower energy dogs and seniors. My home is a fun, safe and healthy play environment that enriches spirit, increases social skills and builds confidence with hours of exercise and stimulation. My goal is to send your pup home happy at the end of their stay 🐾 MY DOGS: I have a 6 year old, very low energy, long haired blue Weimaraner, Sonny & a very playful 2 year old pug, Subi - who I absolutely adore! They are the sweetest boys who are both extremely well socialized and love other dogs. WHEN YOU DROP OFF: All dogs need to have a collar with an I.D. tag. The ONLY thing you should bring is enough food/meds for their stay. Personal beds/toys/bowls/belongings cause issues with our group as some pups get possessive over their personal belongings from home. Do not bring any of these items. I will provide the other items. When you are leaving your house, please text me with the time your GPS says you will arrive at my house. Message me again when you get here, and I will come out to meet you and your pup. Please do not knock on the door or ring the doorbell as this will excite all the dogs inside (If I have not responded to your text with in 5 minutes then yes, please do ring the door bell)

Safety, trust & environment
SAFETY : I take safety very seriously. When your dog stays with me, I take several precautions to keep everyone safe: All dogs are fed separately. All dogs are separated in small groups, if I need to run a quick errand. Cameras are set up in all rooms. I do not require dogs to be crated, but I do have two extra XL Great Dane sized crates if your pup needs to or likes to be crated.

- I DO NOT ACCEPT: Dogs that howl or cry - when I leave my house, when it is bedtime, or in their crate. Dogs that have high anxiety. Unfixed dogs over 1.5 years old. REQUIREMENTS: Proof of up to date vaccinations - Rabies, Bordetella & DHPP Proof of heart worms prevention Proof of Flea & Tick prevention THINGS TO KNOW WHEN BOOKING: Please have your dog’s Rover bio up to date. New clients - A meet & greet is required before any booking is accepted. Please have a day/time in mind for a meet & greet. All owners are required to fill out my google form, that I will send after the meet & greet.
