I have puppysat my friends’ fur babies for years. I’m very good with dogs and in particular, puppies and seniors (with meds) - I love/spoil all like my own. I must say, every dog I’ve watched has a little piece of heart … they’re all special ❤️ (You’ll see some of our guests in the photos section).

Katie was a great sitter! Very accommodating when I informed her I was changing the pick up time to earlier in the day. My dog looked super happy there in the pictures, and I loved the text updates. Highly recommend!

People who say that Katie is a five-star sitter aren't kidding. She is the absolute best sitter I have experienced in this whole area. My 15 year old dog is special needs, to say the least, and Katie was the best person imaginable to take care of him while I was away for a week. She introduced new ways for me to care for him, and I am so grateful for her insight and care! I also never imagined that someone could be such a great dog photographer: I've got the Glamour Shots to prove it!

Schedule
I work from home, so your babies will get lots of attention. I have two mellow small dogs who love the company. Lots of interaction throughout thru the day.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in Old City, Philly and walk the dogs in the neighborhood. My home is their home. I put safety first, as I understand dogs and I am always looking out for them as their pack leader. Of note, I understand and appreciate dogs idiosyncrasies, however I cannot have a dog that bites - they need to OK with being handled so I can leash them and guide them. * Please - if your dog is a senior and has age-related concerns, kindly send them with their meds to ensure they will be happy and comfortable in a home other than theirs (eg anxiety, dementia) noting I do live in a apt setting and need to consider my neighbors (so they should be able to sleep thru the night).

A typical day
We play with the mountain of toys my dogs have to share. Dog parks nearby, though walkies are the best thru the hood - your dog will love the plethora of sniffs and meet other neighborhood dogs. I’m good about assessing, as safety is first.
