I work with Katie at Magnolia Animal Hospital in Ocala, Katie is one of the most kindest people i know when it comes to fur babies, She loves dogs and cats and even has horses She is a very reliable and responsible young lady, the kind and caring way she treats the animals is amazing. She wants to take all of them home with her, LOL

I have two dogs, Shadow and Sugar. Both are adorable mutts but are total opposites. Shadow is older and doesn't see too well. She is a little cranky and sometimes shows signs of pain in her back when she gets up from a nap. Sugar is a younger dog and has no limit to her energy and playfulness. She can be very loud, too. We had an emergency out of state recently and I was in a bind for animal care. Katie E. was recommended by my neighbor, so I asked her on short notice to come out to meet my girls and see if she thought she could handle them. I warned her that my dogs can be aggravating, especially when they walk on the leash together as Shadow can sometimes snap at Sugar. Katie was fine with taking on the job of one cranky, old lady dog and one happy, hyper, young dog. I was very pleased with Katie's demeanor and attitude toward the dogs. Sugar loved her right away and they played together, but my Shadow girl was less impressed but she did accept Katie's hand for pets and snuffles. She seemed to have a handle on keeping them working together while they were on the leash too. Well, I texted Katie every day, checking on my girls, and Katie responded quickly to let me know everything was going well. She even sent me photos! Both dogs seemed to be doing just fine. On the third day, Katie called me and let me know my old Shadow girl wasn't feeling well. She was having trouble making it up and down the steps and didn't want to get up and go out for her walks. This has happened before and I put in a call to Shadow's vet. I didn't know if he would prescribe the usual Rimadyl without seeing Shadow -but Katie assured me if the vet needed to see Shadow, she would drive her over! I was so blessed to have this young lady looking after my dogs! Well, the vet didn't make us bring Shadow in until we got back from New York. He allowed Katie to come by and pick up a few pills until we could get Shadow in to see him. But until Shadow felt better, Katie had to carry her up and down the steps! She weighs 55 pounds, but Katie never complained! When we got back both our pups were happy and healthy. We've called Katie a few times since then and each time I am so pleased and impressed at how committed, professional and loving she is with our animals!
