I am a retired small animal veterinary technician with 20+ years of experience providing gentle care to dogs, cats, birds and reptiles of all ages and health conditions. In addition to daily care, playtime, walks, cuddles and fun, I am experienced in administering oral, topical and injectable medications and fluids as well as understanding that each of our furred, feathered or scaled family members have unique personalities and needs. I am certified in basic life support/CPR for dogs and cats by The American College of Veterinary Emergency Critical Care (ACVECC)

Katie is an exceptional pet sitter. She has watched our 3 dogs several times now and most recently for 15 days while staying at our home and focusing on their wellbeing. They LOVE seeing her and she gives them each their individual attention since they have different personalities and exercise requirements. A German Shepherd, a Belgian Malinois, and Miniature Dachshund. We feel very relieved to have found someone so caring and competent to now enjoy traveling without our 3 furry children.

Schedule
As I am retired, I have ample time to care for your furred, feathered or scaled family members. I am available for drop-in, daily care or playtime visits, walks, overnight stays or longer and am more than happy to work with you and your specific needs and schedule.

I share my own animal friendly house with a sweet 7 year old Chihuahua and a cuddly Sulfur Crested Cockatoo. Our home has a fenced front and back yard, plenty of room to play, rest and cuddle.

A typical day
Depending on any dietary or physical activity restrictions, some typical games and activities I love to have are : treasure hunt (dogs hunt for small treats), fetch, tag, walks around the neighborhood with lots of stops to sniff, etc.
