In addition to daily care, playtime, walks, cuddles and fun, I am experienced in administering oral, topical and injectable medications and fluids as well as understanding that each of our furred, feathered or scaled family members have unique personalities and needs. I am certified in basic life support/CPR for dogs and cats by The American College of Veterinary Emergency Critical Care (ACVECC)

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog and house sitter! From the moment she arrived, our dogs adored her, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were so comfortable while we were away. She went above and beyond in caring for them. Honestly, I think she played with them even more than we do! On the hottest days, she made sure their water bowls were always clean, full, and easily accessible, and she paid attention to all the little details that showed how much she genuinely cared. She spent time snuggling with them, keeping them happy, loved, and entertained. It was obvious from her updates that they were having the best time. She was incredibly communicative throughout our trip, sending thoughtful updates and making it easy to relax knowing everything at home was going smoothly. As a slightly anxious dog mom, I especially appreciated how calm, patient, and gracious she was with all of my questions and requests. She made us feel completely at ease and treated our home and our dogs with so much respect and care. We are so grateful for everything she did and would absolutely welcome her back anytime. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!
Katie was absolutely amazing, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. We were away for several days, and she came three times a day to care for our dogs. From the moment we left, I felt completely at ease knowing they were in her care. She kept us updated, was incredibly attentive, and went above and beyond in every way. During our trip, we had a few unexpected issues at home, including our security cameras going offline. Katie was proactive, communicative, and willing to help troubleshoot and check on things for us. She made me feel like not only were my dogs (and fishes) being cared for, but that my home was being looked after as well. She even made homemade dog treats for the dogs (with permission), which was such a thoughtful touch. When we got home, our dogs were happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved while we were away. As any pet owner knows, that peace of mind is priceless. Katie is reliable, kind, professional, and genuinely cares about the animals she watches. This was by far one of the best pet-sitting experiences we’ve ever had, and we will absolutely be booking with her again in the future. Thank you so much, Katie!

Schedule
As I am retired, I have ample time to care for your furred, feathered or scaled family members. I am available for drop-in, daily care or playtime visits, walks, overnight stays or longer and am more than happy to work with you and your specific needs and schedule.

I share my own animal friendly house with a sweet 7 year old Chihuahua and a cuddly Sulfur Crested Cockatoo. Our home has a fenced front and back yard, plenty of room to play, rest and cuddle.

A typical day
Depending on any dietary or physical activity restrictions, some typical games and activities I love to have are : treasure hunt (dogs hunt for small treats), fetch, tag, walks around the neighborhood with lots of stops to sniff, etc.
