Katie has a heart as big as the planet for all little living creatures. She rescues those cats and dogs which most people would pass by due to disabilities or medical needs, then patently and lovingly brings them around to good health and good behavior. I have 6 cats and she has babysat them. She knows how to safely administer medications and follows care instructions given to her. Katie is always prompt, always prepared, and always happy to meet a new four-legged friend! I trust her with my babies, and they are not just 'pets', they are my children. She is also extremely trustworthy in other people’s homes.

Katie has some sort of animal-speaking magic, because whenever my skittish cat hears her voice, you can see her whole cat body relax, like she's under a spell. All my pets, including my super spirited husky and border collie w/ PTSD, ADORE her. She's especially good at giving medication and and coaxing reluctant animals to let her handle them for treatment, and she has a soft spot for older and special needs animals. She's also very strong and can lift my big dogs up stairs and into the car, which gives me peace of mind that they'll be able to get to the vet quickly in an emergency. She's got so much empathy for animals, and genuinely understands their body language and how to communicate with even the most difficult cases. Katie treats my pets like her own children, and I would trust her with their lives.
