I would love to take care of your home and pets!
I love the energy of animals - particularly the playfulness, affection, and intelligence of dogs. I grew up with cats, dogs, and chickens and have cared for bunnies, sheep, and fish. Chickens, like dogs, stand out because of their unique personalities and the funny hierarchy in a hen house. I’d be happy to offer care to a wide variety of animals as I’m comfortable around all I’ve encountered, but dogs hold a special home in my heart. I’m self-employed and have been running my own online business for nearly 12 years now and I’m very flexible and open to your schedule. I am well-versed in the importance of timely, thorough, and thoughtful responses and attention to detail. I’ll be sure to respond to requests and messages as quickly as possible, and to stay in communication with my customers for the duration of my stay with your pup! When I’m not enjoying the company of animals, you can usually find me writing or cooking. I also love nature walks and any change to watch the sunset. Because I do travel, I can’t have a dog of my own right now, but I’d love to “get my fix” by caring for your furry friend! I can’t wait to meet you!

My dog has a big personality and his persistent requests to play (shoving a toy in your hand/lap) can be a lot to handle. Not only did Katie not even flinch at his energy, she used some sort of ninja calming spell on him that made him snuggle on the couch with his head in her lap. Magic! I highly recommend Katie. Beyond her bond with my dog, she's a cool person and reliable.

I've had the pleasure of befriending Katie in 2012 after a wonderful stay in her home where she hosted me through Airbnb. In the five years I've know her I have found Katie to be a wonderfully warm, naturally nurturing, extremely hilarious, generously giving and all around amazing human being. Your fur kid will be in loving, capable hands if you choose her as your trusted dog sitter.
Katie is a loving, detail oriented and conscientious person who will care for your home and your pets as if they were her own. You can trust her and her judgment should any emergency situations arise and that she will be communicative and thorough in whatever you entrust to her.

Schedule
I love starting and ending the day with a walk, and a dog is the perfect companion! My schedule is flexible so I'm more than happy to take their lead and listen to their needs.
