Experienced & Loving Pet Sitter
I started pet sitting when I was 18 and built my own pet-sitting business throughout college, growing mostly through word of mouth to around 15 regular clients. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I’ve continued pet sitting for friends, family, and clients over the years. I’ve now called San Diego home for five years and would love to become your pet’s favorite home-away-from-home, walking buddy, or trusted sitter. I’m active, dependable, attentive, and genuinely love getting to know each animal’s personality and routine. Whether your pet loves long walks, beachy adventures, playtime, or just having someone around to keep them company, I’m happy to meet them where they’re most comfortable.

When I’m caring for a pet in their own home, I treat both the pet and the home with the same care and respect I would want someone to give mine. I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, feeding schedule, medications, house rules, and all the little details that help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m attentive, dependable, and respectful of your space — and I’ve always taken pride in leaving a home just as clean (and often cleaner!) than I found it. You can expect plenty of communication, updates, photos, and, most importantly, a happy and well-loved pet when you return.

Katie did a great job house sitting for my dog for 10 days! My dog was happy and the house very clean when I returned. She sent lots of pictures and updates. She has been a very reliable dog walker as well. My dog can be nervous with new people but liked Katie right away.
Kate was absolutely fantastic! You would be lucky to have her as a sitter. She took excellent care of my 3 babies. I came back to a peaceful and clean house! It was the first time I left my puppies with a sitter and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Highly recommend!

Schedule
My schedule is currently very flexible, which gives me plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays. I’ve lived in San Diego for five years and love spending my days outside, so having a four-legged companion along for a walk or adventure is always a bonus! I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to work around your pet’s normal routine. Whether they need an afternoon walk, some company while you’re at work, or someone to stay with them while you’re away, my goal is to make things as easy and stress-free as possible for both you and your pet.

- Every pet has their own personality, so I love learning what makes yours happy and comfortable! I’d like to know about their normal routine, feeding schedule, bathroom needs, medications, energy level, favorite activities, and any quirks or special needs I should know about. For dogs, it’s also helpful to know how they do around other dogs, people, children, and new environments, as well as any leash behaviors or triggers. And please tell me the fun stuff too — favorite treats, toys, cuddle spots, nicknames, and anything else that will help me make their time with me feel as normal and comfortable as possible.
