I have a fenced yard and a dog friendly home. I have two dog friendly cats who are indoor and outdoor and tolerated living with four dogs and two kids. Dogs are allowed on my sofa and bed but only if you allow that at home… I don’t want to create bad habits!

I have forms I like owners to complete to give me some basic info about their animals personalities. I believe our pets have little quirks just like we do, that only owners know! It gives me a good understanding of what to expect and how to bond with your animals!
A typical day
We love to go for walks in our neighborhood and longer hikes with dogs who like that! I have a large vehicle to transport animals and we live close to many wonderful trails!

Hi I'm Katie! Also known as that British lady! I have owned dogs my entire life, usually always two at a time. I currently have one of my own after losing three elderly dogs in the last few years. I now only have Ernie a chihuahua cross i rescued from Kansas in 2017. I've had experience with various breeds and fostered ex racer greyhounds for a while in the U.K. I also have two indoor/outdoor cats I rescued as kittens from local feral cat litters. I finish work for the Summer in June and can offer drop in services up to three times a day for dogs, cats and smaller furries if you live in the local area, Maple Falls etc. These can be whilst you’re at work to give your beloved pet a potty break or they can be for longer stretches of time while you vacation so you can feel secure your dogs are in their own home safe and comfortable. I can also board dogs in my own home from all over Whatcom county if they are dog/cat/responsible kid friendly. I have a fenced in yard and a very dog friendly house!

Katie has always been available for me to drop my pup off, at the drop of a hat. Her doggies interact well with others and your pup will be included as one of their own. She has watched two different dogs that I’ve owned and I am always relieved knowing they aren’t in a cage and can free roam and play as much as they want. Katie is super sweet and has a passion for all animals, but dogs are where her heart is.
Murphy (crazy boxer) loved it when we took her to see Katie. Katie did a great job of following up with me and letting me know how Murphy was doing and sent photos daily. I will never be able to board our dog after using a service like this. I always knew that Murphy was in good hands and well taken care of and that put me at ease when I was away. You will not find a better caretaker for your dogs. Katie is very trustworthy and always got back to me in a timely manner.
Katie has been around dogs all her life, and has always loved dogs. Her first fur baby was her little Alfie, and since then her little family has grown by 3 more fur babies and 2 human babies ❤️ Just know that when you leave your dog with her, she will treat them just like they are her own! Highly recommend!
I would highly recommend Katie as a puppy carer, I used to board my 2 shihtzus at the vets and although they where looked after, whenever I picked them up they looked gloomy. Since I started boarding my puppies at Katies I immediately noticed the difference, they're full of life and seems like they don't want to leave. If you're looking for the perfect place to leave your puppies then Katies is the place.
