Responsible Animal Lover!
I have been a dog owner and lover my whole life. I have experience with all sorts of pets as such as various reptiles, chinchillas, guinea pigs and more. I have fostered dogs through Brother Wolf and AHS for years. I also cared for and bottle fed an orphaned piglet until he was ready for life back on the farm. Although I don’t own cats due to allergies in my family, I love to spend time with them when I can! I am open to all sorts of animals in my home or yours. I currently have two dogs, Telly and Augie, who are both around 25-30 pounds. They LOVE having other dogs come to visit.

Katie was great and communicative. There were some issues that happened on property from the cold weather which she pointed out. That was great for me to get it resolved while I was gone. My kitty cat was happy. I would book with Katie again if I'm in the area.

Katie is great! We were anxious to leave our 2 cats (our first time since COVID) for a week, but Katie took great care of them. She sent beautiful photos, made sure they had food/water, played with them, and even checked our mail. When we go out of town again, Katie will definitely be our first pick!

Schedule
I am a teacher, so I am out of the house from 8-4 every day. We typically do a short walk in the mornings and then take a nice long walk as soon as I get home.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a nice big yard for playing and two friendly dogs to keep yours company. I enjoy playing with pup whether it be tugging on a toy with them or playing fetch. Dogs are totally welcome on our couches and laps! We do not allow dogs in the beds.

A typical day
We live on a quiet street in the woods of Swannanoa. Our dogs prefer to go on walks through the forest, but we also live in a neighborhood with safe streets and minimum traffic for dogs who prefer that.
