Katie was awesome and she's my first person to contact whenever I need a sitter. Socks had had minor surgery the week before, and she monitored his incision and took him to the vet when it looked like it might need some attention. I know the dogs got good care and attention with her.
Katie did a fantastic job caring for our dog, cats, reptiles, and rodents during our week-long vacation. We got beautiful pictures and detailed updates while we were gone and felt totally comfortable that our house and fur babies were being cared for. Our dog required medication that she gave without issue and one of our cats is immune compromised so Katie kept an extra eye on her and messaged us to let us know how ...
Katie did a great job taking care of my Great Dane, Max. He seemed relaxed and like he had a good time. She sent me updates and some really great photos. It was comforting to know that Max was being so well taken care of while I was away. I will definitely use her services again. Thank you Katie!
PhD Student in College of VetMed
I'm currently a 3rd year PhD student at the College of Veterinary Medicine at UIUC studying reproductive toxicology! When I'm not hanging out with my 120 mice at my lab, I'm usually home drawing or thinking about exercising.
Although I'm new to Rover, I'm not new to dogs and have had at least one family dog (if not two!) pretty much my entire life. I was unable to take my dogs to college with me ...
What Katie would like to know about your dog
I would want to know if your pet has any special needs, any medications, any no touch zones, any favorite touch zones, any triggers (like other animals, kids, bicycles, etc), any favorite activities or treats, and how you would prefer their leash etiquette to be on walks!
I don't have any breed preferences, I've known dogs and cats large and small that were great! If your dog is big, the only thing I request is that they be manageable on walks if you want to book me to walk your big pup! I love big dogs, but don't want to endanger your dog or myself on a walk!
