Katie is an excellent, caring, trust-worthy, honest, and overall amazing person. I could not think of someone that loves animals more than her. Every pet that she meets she instantly bonds with and she becomes their loving aunt. Kate is timely, sincere, and my animals absolutely adore her. She is also well informed about animal health and behavior which makes her an outstanding caregiver. Katie's heart is huge and I can guarantee that your pet ...
My animals really liked Katie! She took time to give them attention and picked up after herself while pet-sitting. I will definitely be requesting her in the future!
Katie has helped walk and petsit my beloved pup, Banjo (a Blue heeler mix), for the past 4 years. She has kept him happy and well-exercised every time they were together. She always respected our wishes about walking Banjo away from other dogs and ensuring he ate no table scraps while we were away. Katie has deep compassion for animals and she has owned a wide variety of exotic species and canines herself. She is ...
PhD Student in College of VetMed
I'm currently a 3rd year PhD student at the College of Veterinary Medicine at UIUC studying reproductive toxicology! When I'm not hanging out with my 120 mice at my lab, I'm usually home drawing or thinking about exercising.
Although I'm new to Rover, I'm not new to dogs and have had at least one family dog (if not two!) pretty much my entire life. I was unable to take my dogs to college with me ...
What Katie would like to know about your dog
I would want to know if your pet has any special needs, any medications, any no touch zones, any favorite touch zones, any triggers (like other animals, kids, bicycles, etc), any favorite activities or treats, and how you would prefer their leash etiquette to be on walks!
I don't have any breed preferences, I've known dogs and cats large and small that were great! If your dog is big, the only thing I request is that they be manageable on walks if you want to book me to walk your big pup! I love big dogs, but don't want to endanger your dog or myself on a walk!
