I bring a diverse range of experience to animal care! I just left working with Guiding Eyes for the Blind as a Whelping Kennel Technician where I assisted broods with births and raise their babies with them until 6 weeks. I have years of hands-on wildlife rehabilitation, where I gained valuable skills in nurturing and caring for injured wildlife. In addition, I have seven years of experience in pet care and sitting, providing personalized attention and ensuring the well-being of pets in my care. I also have four years of expertise as a dog daycare and boarding specialist, where I learned how to manage multiple dogs, assess their individual needs, and create a safe, stimulating environment for them. I also spent about five months working as a Veterinary Technician Assistant, assisting with various medical procedures, providing animal care, and supporting veterinary staff in a clinical setting! This combination of experiences has given me a well-rounded understanding of animal behavior, health, and care (:

I ensure pets' safety by providing secure environments, proper supervision, and addressing their health and behavior needs. And of course, following any instructions you as a pet parent may give me. Keeping them safe and comfortable is my top priority!

Katie took superior care of our senior dog who has a demanding schedule. She went above and beyond what was expected. Our home was in perfect order after our eight day trip. Katie is responsible, independent, and a professional, as well as having a natural talent for caring for animals. All we had to do was enjoy our vacation!
Katie has loved animals her whole life, and dogs are no exception. She loves on and cares for each dog she meets. Her previous job experience at dog kennels has equipped her to handle all different breeds. She is compassionate and caring with every dog she meets.
Katie has cared for our two pups multiple times over the past year! We have a senior dog and a puppy with tons of energy and she does great with both. Our house is well cared for and everything is neat and tidy when we return. We will definitely be using Katie in the future!
