My pet care journey is driven by a genuine love and understanding of dogs. Having recently graduated, I’m currently based at home where I live with my six dogs, including two puppies I’ve trained myself. This environment allows me to stay actively involved in dog care and training on a daily basis. While I’ve been less active on Rover recently, I’ve continued to care for a number of regular clients, maintaining consistent experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I particularly enjoy working with more anxious dogs, helping them feel comfortable, secure and settled in my care. My background also includes working at a doggy daycare centre, where I developed confidence handling multiple dogs at once and adapting to different personalities and energy levels. My key strengths include puppy training, building trust with nervous dogs, and providing consistent, personalised care. I take the time to understand each dog’s individual needs and routines, ensuring they feel safe, happy and well looked after at all times.

Safety, trust, and a welcoming environment are my top priorities in pet care. At home, I have a secure fenced garden perfect for safe play. When walking dogs, I always keep them on a lead to ensure their safety. In pet owners' homes, I treat the space with utmost respect, leaving it tidy and ensuring pets feel comfortable and loved. Whether at my place or yours, I provide a secure, caring, and fun environment for your furry friends.

Katie was the first house sitter we have had since moving to this area 6 months ago so it was a new experience for us and our old dog, Nerrin. We need not have worried as Nerrin bonded with Katie from the start. We were very impressed with Katie's professionalism and caring nature. She responded quickly to messages and kept us up to date regularly while we were away.
This young lady is amazing,l would definitely recommend her listened to what we said about the dogs meet them before hand and the dogs loved her.
Katie was amazing! My Spike is a seventeen week old Jack Russell pup. This was my first time leaving him I was worried I need not have been, Katie was amazing remaining early as the traffic was going to be bad and she was so good with Spike he was very happy in her care and I felt very reassured. Thanks Katie eleven out of ten! Look forward to seeing you again as is Spike!
Katie is lovely, we had a couple of meets before our holiday so she could meet our 3 dogs, she was always on time, very tidy,in fact the house was cleaner when we got back, got regular photos of the dogs playing games and having cuddles, we would not hesitate to book Katie again to look after our fur babies.
Hope our mini Dashound spent the day with Katie , she was very happy and settled, Katie did a great job I would 100% recommend her
It was a pleasure meeting Katie. We went for a walk together with Floyd and Floyd and Katie got on really well - an enjoyable walk!

As a Master’s student (with a background in Zoology at Newcastle University), I balance my studies alongside a flexible part-time job and my passion for pet care. This means I have the time, organisation, and reliability to give your pets the attention they deserve. I regularly update my calendar to ensure I’m fully available and never overbooked, so there’s always plenty of time for walks, play, cuddles, and making sure your dog feels comfortable and cared for. Balancing university, work, and pet care has helped me develop strong time management and commitment, meaning your furry friends will always receive consistent, attentive, and loving care every day.
