Hi there my name is Katie! I’ve been around animals all my life! Dogs, cats, lizards birds, snakes…you name it! I’m very experienced with animals and always get a good response when meeting new pets! They can always tell I’m animal person! I have my own puppets who I take to the dog park everyday! We go on 4 walks a day as well so if I’m taking care of your pooch they will join us at the park and on walks! As for cats, birds ect they will be mostly in the house while sitting and will be fed watered and safe till you come by to pick them up! Please ask me about meet and greet when reaching out about booking. First comes first with meet and greet, and then according to mine in your schedule will plan the time that’s best for us pick up and drop off. If you’re rebooking then you know the drill already.

I have a large Alaskan Malamute that Katie agreed to watch for a week on fairly short notice. She took very good care of him with frequent updates and photos.
Katie watched my pup Dahlia while I was away for 2 weeks. Since I’m from out of town, we hadn’t met in-person before drop-off, but I felt like Dahlia was in good hands. Katie was great at communicating both before and during Dahlia’s stay. Katie sent pictures and videos of Dahlia during the two weeks and I could tell that Dahlia was comfortable and cozy throughout her stay. Would book with Katie again if I ever need a dog-sitter in Anchorage!

Schedule
I love the outdoors! Anything related to hiking I love. When I go on a walk or to the park with my own dog I would definitely be including any of the dogs I am babysitting.

Safety, trust & environment
My dog always gets lots of cuddles and love and attention so your animal would get the same. I let my dog sleep with me so I’m ok with cuddle puddles with more furry friends. I do not use aggression or frustration with any of the animals including mine. Mine will be kenneled during meet and greet and will let one out at a time to say hello to our visitor. If they get along, then we will let them play together, but if they don’t get along, we’ll just keep them separated during the stay.
Pets
A typical day
Usually involves going to the park or going long walks or going with me to the store! I always take my dog to the store, especially since he’s smaller. If your dog is small too, he might be able to go with us if I have to make a store stop. My dog is usually always included in my work activities and other activities. He practically goes everywhere with me if I want him to.
