Hi, I'm Katie! I'm an occupational therapist by trade, but these days, I stay home and help manage our dog grooming business remotely. My husband and I have fostered over 200 kittens, cats, dogs, and puppies, so I'm very comfortable with different temperaments, special needs, and helping animals feel safe in new environments. We stay actively involved in the rescue community. I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals my whole life, so caring for them isn't just something I do, it's who I am. I also volunteer at local animal shelters to take pictures and get them posted on social media for adoption, so yes, your pup will be getting their photo taken while they are with me and sent to you with lots of updates. If you're looking for someone who treats your pup like family, pays attention to the little things, and keeps you updated with pictures and messages, then I'd love to take care of your fur baby.

Katie was easy to work with. She sent pictures and took Cooper on two walks, and the last one caught them in a rainstorm. They were drenched! Cooper loved it and I loved how she dried him off and brought him to the truck so we wouldn't have to get out in the rain. She really went above and beyond. I highly recommend Katie!

Katie was wonderful with Bella! She took her on a walk, played with her, made sure she stayed entertained, and even gave her some nap time. Katie absolutely sets the bar for dog sitters. Just WOW. Simon loved her from the second he met her. The entire setup was amazing, from the backyard to the overall environment she’s created for the dogs. You can immediately tell how knowledgeable she is, how much she genuinely loves dogs, and how comfortable she makes them feel. We’ve had some great sitters before (and unfortunately some not so great ones too), but Katie is truly on another level. Simon had an amazing time, and we had complete peace of mind the entire stay. Could not recommend her more highly.

I work from home, so your pup will have constant company, attention, and love every single day. I'm available for daily care, overnight stays, and weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
We have two dogs and two cats of our own. For everyone's safety and comfort, your pup gets their own private suite to play, nap, and relax in, completely separate from our pets. If you're looking for a place where your dog will have other playmates, our house may not be the best fit. We have a 15 year old senior dog that only wants to nap and our other dog is somewhat fearful and reactive so we keep them separate from our Rover clients. I will be your pups playmate which I enjoy immensely. I work from home in our attached mother-in-law suite, so I'm here with your pup all day, every day. For overnight stays, I sleep in the suite with them so they're never alone. During downtime I'll have calming music or pet TV on to keep them relaxed. We also have a big fenced in backyard, a great neighborhood for walks, and of course, lots of cuddle time throughout the day.
Pets
A typical day
Your pup's day starts with a walk around our dog friendly neighborhood, followed by playtime in our big fenced in backyard. After that, it's nap time with calming music or pet TV. In the afternoon we do it all over again. When it's time to wind down, we'll cuddle up on the couch and sneak in a fun show or movie together. I also make homemade frozen doggie treats that your pup is welcome to enjoy with your approval. They will never be left unsupervised.
