I want to be as prepared as possible to take care of your house &/or dog. I do not compromise any client's privacy, leave the place clean, and will follow any specific instructions for property care. Updates are daily sent to you regarding your pet. I really want a dog of my own someday and aim to foster many dogs in the future; I want experience with as many dog personalities and breeds as possible.

Katie was an amazing sitter to watch our dog in our home over a long weekend! While we were busy on vacation, Katie was super self sufficient and I felt very at ease knowing my pup was safe and comfortable with Katie! She’s wonderful at working with my timid dog, fabulous at following my written directions, and left our home cleaner than she found it. I’d absolutely recommend Katie for any pet sitting/house sitting needs!!!

I am shocked by all the other great reviews because everything I experienced with Katie is the opposite of what she claims to be. Punctual? No, she was several hours late to an overnight sitting shift for my dog— claiming traffic issues but only told me minutes before arrival. Upon arrival, she let my dog out, took a quick photo of her with a toy— dropped the toy, didn’t acknowledge my dog at all and then immediately left again. (Yes, like most people I have cameras inside and outside my house and watched to make sure the first interaction was smooth.) This initial interaction concerned me but I reached to her to reset on expectations, because we’re all human and have things come up. She came back hours later for another fast turn and burn, asked if she could have friends over, and when I declined this due to early lack of communication and concern for my dog, she left my dog and went partying until 4 am. Again, the cameras don’t lie. My dog received basically zero overnight care that I had paid for, and she had been alone from 8am -4am with very little care. The next morning my dog missed her medication by 2 hours, and after repeatedly messaging and talking to the Rover help desk, I finally sounded the alarm inside my own home while on vacation to wake her up from her night out partying. I asked her to medicate and feed my dog and leave. The friends and neighbors who pitched in to help out while I was still gone reported that no poop had been cleaned up and that she left soaking wet towels on the mattress on her way out. Despite having a squeaky clean, key-word optimized profile, (she seems great) she was unapologetic, entitled, and cold. This experience ruined my vacation and I came home early. Waiting for Rover to deliver the full refund. It’s wild that she didn’t even acknowledge her mistakes or apologize. Don’t hire this person, she is not a dog person. She is hustling to make cash and have a good time. Her profile looks like AI wrote it in hindsight.
Katie was a wonderful dog sitter for us, no issues or worries while we were going. She gave daily updates with photos and was very communicative.

Note: Please note calendar availability before scheduling. Rover is how I'm paying for grad school and I'm a busy gal. I appreciate consistent communication to ensure our schedules work cohesively for your pet(s). I also enjoy being outside whenever I can, so please let me know how often I should walk your dog(s).
