I own a dog and he is my top priority as is any pet that I am watching so I am always thinking about what my pet needs and when. I understand each pet has their own routine and needs that are to be met and I make sure to prioritize those needs in my daily and weekly routine.

I like to get to know each pet and their personality so I can get an understanding of their individual needs to help keep them comfortable and happy. I try to make sure my pet care is equivalent to what they are used with their owners to provide the safest environment for the pets.

Please let me know if your pet as any sort of specific needs/care, health problems, or medications. I also need to be aware of any behaviors like resource guarding, toy aggression, food aggression, and other triggers that are specific to your pet. This will set me up for success so I can keep your pet safe, happy, and comfortable.

I have been volunteering at animal shelters in Iowa since I was 12 years old, and recently worked as an Animal Care Technician at a doggy daycare and boarding facility in Indiana. Working at this facility gave me experience with all types of dogs (and cats) including reactive, senior, anxious, energetic, etc. I have always enjoyed being around animals, and I am a frequent pet sitter to my family and friends. I live a very active lifestyle and enjoy long and/or short walks with any canine companion!
