I have many years of professional experience working with a wide variety of breeds from 10 lbs to 150 lbs from adult, puppy, senior, rescue dog and special needs experience! However, for safety reasons, I also have a preference for nonaggressive pets, so temperament should be disclosed. As a reputable sitter, I have always done a Meet & Greet prior to house-sitting to discuss expectations and answer any questions you may have. It is something I highly recommend before you book any sitter on Rover who will be staying in your home. I want everyone involved to be satisfied knowing that they have chosen a wholesome environment & responsible sitter for their pet!! Integrity, communication, and safety are values I stand by. *Please understand that prices are also nonnegotiable and per dog as I work with one client at a time, and I actually do rely on it as a source of income. Thank you for considering me as your future pet sitter!
A typical day
House-Sitting When I stay at your residence, your pets’ routine will be kept as normal as possible in their own familiar environment! Before you leave for your adventures, please leave a note for me to follow regarding your pets’ needs and house instructions. I will always spend the evening/ night with your pets unless given instruction otherwise. During my stay, you can regularly expect to receive pictures of your beloved pets! Upon your return, I make sure the house is clean, mail is picked up, trash dispensed, etc… The closer the proximity your home is to mine, the better as I am able to coordinate visits and tend to form long lasting relationships with these clients the most! __________________________ Drop-In Visits This is a great option for you if you need a 30 minute check-in on your pets. I will play, walk, feed, or do other designated activities with your pets during this time. Establishing a regular pet-sitter is important for consistency and peace of mind! Let's work together and schedule a Meet & Greet!

Welcome! My name is Katie & I am actively seeking walking/ drop-in visit opportunities in the Pinckney/ Brighton area! My experience as a pet-sitter started in Michigan in 2018. Since then, I have provided quality care for dozens of pets of all sizes, breeds, needs, and behaviors in a few states and I am excited to be back where it all began. My philosophy is that the pets and the pet parents always deserve reliability, safety, and strong communication. Finding the right fit for everyone’s needs is of upmost importance to me, which is why I prioritize setting up Meet & Greets whenever possible. Also, be assured that repeat clients and multiple dogs have priority booking!

Katie was truly a wonderful sitter. She was willing to coordinate and work with us ahead of time to understand our needs. She is willing to hear you out to handle your special needs fur babies and was able to care for our diabetic dog (i.e. 2x daily injections) very well. She is friendly and engaging, sending plenty of photos while you’re gone to make you feel secured. The house was as it was from when we left and the supplies for our dogs were well organized upon return. You could tell that our dogs were well cared for and loved while we were away - even took them on walks when we didn’t expect her to do that. I would highly recommend Katie for your pet and house sitting needs. She went above and beyond.
