I’ve been doing this for a long time and one thing I know is to go by the comfort level of the pets. Lots of times I’ve worked with rescue dogs who have a hard time meeting new people. In cases like those I follow the dogs lead. I am in their space, therefore trust must be built, some more slowly but in the end, I aim to keep everyone safe and happy.

Hi there my name is Katie and I’ve been pet sitting/ housesitting for about 8 years now. I love what I do and I go above and beyond when it comes to taking care of your pet(s) and home. Not only do I provide top quality care and lots of cuddles and love for your pet(s) but I also bring in packages and mail, do walks, water any plants, take trash and recycle out to the curb, give plenty of updates with pictures if requested, and finally I will leave your home better, than when I first arrived. Im still available for housesitting this Christmas and I’m still available for housecalls so I would reach out soon to make sure that your home base is covered while you are away! Katie was seriously the best. 🥹 It was so clear how much she genuinely loved spending time with Indi, and that gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She kept us updated, gave Indi so much love and attention, and treated her like she was her own. We came home to a happy, relaxed pup, which says everything. You can tell Katie truly loves animals, and we’re so grateful we found her. Looking forward to rebooking again in a heartbeat and honestly can’t recommend her enough. Thank you, Katie! ❤️

Katie was very professional, and we felt completely at ease with her housesitting our 6 yr old Labrador while we were overseas for 9 days. She also asked good questions for clarity, which we appreciated. In addition, Katie coordinates with a Rover colleague to ensure that our pooch was always well looked after. We loved the photos and daily updates, and coming home to a spotless home. Charlie was clearly happy, relaxed and healthy. We would absolutely have Katie stay with our Charlie again!
Highly recommend Katie to watch your pups and your home. This is the second time Katie has helped us out. Our pups seemed so happy and relaxed when we came home, plus it's nice to come home to a clean home. Thank you Katie!
