I am currently working at Ultium Cells and have a 6am-4pm work schedule. I often have activities later on in the evening, but can usually find time to swing by after I get off work.

I always try my best to play with dogs the way they want to play, even if it gets a little ruff, but when safety becomes an issue I always make sure to make it clear play time is over until the issue is resolved.

It is always important to know about any special needs your pet has. If they are deaf, blind or missing a limb they can still have a wonderful time with a little creativity. It is also good to know about trouble some behaviors or things you are trying to work on. As well as a simple medical history and any allergies just in case something happens.
A typical day
Different dogs like to play differently. If I am with a dog who likes to be mentally challenged, I can get out puzzle toys or we can work on learning new tricks. If I am with a dog who likes games of strength tug and wrestling is where we will spend our time. It is important to listen to our furry friends and they will listen more to us.

Pet care experience
I love dogs. I had a little dog growing up and it was the best. We acquired a couple of cats (rather unwillingly) as well as a lab mix rescue. I have worked for a dog walking service a few years ago in college. That was one of my favorite jobs. I also often dog sit for my friends. We love to wrestle, play fetch, keep away in the back yard and basement. As well as going for walks and cuddling on the couch. I am currently working 6am to 4pm in Spring Hill but I would love to help outside of those hours.
