Hello! I'm excited to be considered for you fur baby needs. 😊 I currently work in veterinary research and have many years of experience working in boarding kennels. I have owned dogs, cats, and horses my whole life. I also have experience with bunnies and guinea pigs! I have reliable transportation, and I'm willing to spend as much time with your pet as you wish! I am comfortable providing oral and topical medications, as well as injections. I have watched multiple diabetic pets and have no issues working around their important feeding/med schedule. No breed or size restrictions, I'd love to care for your fur baby like they were my own! Many of my past pet sitting clients are still very close friends that I love to keep tabs on.

Schedule
I work full time but have some flexibility with working from home. I prefer dogs that can be left alone for up to 8 hours when doing drop ins or house sitting to account for my occasional full days at the office. I have more flexibility with dogs boarding at the house with us! My husband also has a hybrid schedule so someone is usually home for at least half the work day. I free up my schedule following work hours to spend the most time with your pet, including overnight stays at your house.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced in yard that is small dog approved (no escape points!). I only take dogs off my property if approved and discussed with the owner ahead of time (this can include some walking trails near my house or the dog park).

A typical day
If your neighborhood has safe places to walk in I like to stay in areas where your pet is familiar or comfortable. There are also some really nice wooded trails around Battle Creek if they are more of the adventure type!

- Any quirks! Whether it's digging, resource guarding, a slow eater, etc. The more I know, the better I can care for your pet. I don't have breed restrictions, but I can't accommodate aggressive pets in my home. I'd be happy to care for them at your residence!
