I’ve been pet sitting dogs, cats, and more for 16 years and absolutely love doing it. I’ve been an owner of a dog with some separation anxiety, so I know you want to leave your pet with someone who will care for them, love on them, and keep them safe (and send you as many updates as you prefer!). I work from home which allows me to give lots of attention to your loved one. Please don’t hesitate to let me know if your pet has any special needs to accommodate.

Katie was wonderful and it was clear that my pup Charlie had a great stay with her & Teddy! She sent updates and photos throughout the day so I knew Charlie was settling in nicely. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again!

Katie was the best! Was flexible for a meet & greet as well as pick up and drop off times. Very responsive and provided lots of great pictures. Our dog was clearly very happy and had a ton of fun with Katie’s sweet dog Teddy.
Katie treated my pup like her own when he stayed with her. Katie has her own dog who was also very welcoming and playful. I received regular updates (in line with how much I asked for) too. Definitely would use Katie again!

I booked Katie pretty last minute and could not have been more satisfied! From a communication standpoint she was incredibly responsive and flexible. From a dog-sitting perspective she went above and beyond!! She made our dog feel right at home and even took her out on a long hike. Our 8 yr old lab mix got along great with Teddy and we're thrilled that our pup could hang out with a playmate. Will definitely be booking again!

Schedule
I am caring for my dog already so it is part of my daily routine. We go out 4 times a day with at least one longer walk. Working from home means I am very flexible and your pet won’t have to be alone for long periods of time.

Safety, trust & environment
I live on the second floor of a spacious apartment building across the street from a park. I take my dog for walks there as well as to the Santa Monica Airport dog park and would be happy to bring yours. If you provide a crate, I am happy to put your dog in it when I am not home, if that is your routine.
A typical day
I have a fun game for dogs that involves finding treats and plenty of tennis balls. We walk to the part across the street every day for lots of sniffing opportunities.
