I love dogs, and my 4-year-old dog, Stitch, is a big part of my life. Caring for him has given me firsthand experience with the daily needs, routines, and love that dogs thrive on. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I want every dog who stays with me to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Staying at Katie’s with my dog is very relaxing because the atmosphere is very pro-dog. I don’t have to worry about my dog at all. She has a dog door to her backyard so my dog always has complete access to the yard whenever they want. My dog is also allowed on the furniture at her house and sleeps with my husband and I in the bed when we stay over, just like we do at home. Katie’s kids are the gentlest with my senior dog and never have to be prompted to be so. So, it really is a weight off my mind when I visit. It’s like being at home. Katie loves my dog like her own and is listed as god-parent to my dog in my Will. She shows unconditional kindness and love to every animal she meets. I know that I never have to worry when my dog is in her care. My dog loves to visit because she loves Katie’s dog. They play together and cuddle together and it is the cutest thing in the word. It fills my heart with happiness and makes me wish that we lived closer just so they could hang out all the time.

Schedule
I work full-time during the week, but I have a flexible schedule that allows me to spend quality time with the dogs in my care. On weekdays, your pet would have companionship throughout the day with our dog, Stitch, and would be part of our normal family routine. Some days I work from home, which allows for extra attention, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. On days that I am in the office, I'm still local and return home after work to spend the evening with the dogs. Even when we're busy, making sure pets are happy, comfortable, and well cared for is a priority in our household. Mornings, evenings, and weekends are dedicated to family time, playtime, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. We understand that leaving your pet can be stressful, so we work hard to provide a safe, loving, family oriented environment where they can feel right at home. Your dog will be treated like one of our own and will have plenty of love, attention, and companionship during their stay. 🐾❤️

We have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play, explore, and enjoy time outdoors. Our home is set up to be comfortable and dog-friendly, including a doggie door that allows easy access to the yard throughout the day. Dogs in our home are considered part of the family and are welcome on the furniture for cuddles and relaxation. Our dog, Stitch, has access to fresh food and water throughout the day and night, and we're happy to follow whatever routine works best for your pet. Whether your dog is free-fed, has scheduled meal times, requires medication, or follows a specific feeding routine, we'll make sure their needs are met and their schedule is maintained. Our goal is to make your dog's stay feel as much like home as possible, providing plenty of love, comfort, attention, and a safe environment while you're away. 🐾❤️

A typical day in our home includes plenty of time to relax, play, and enjoy the fenced yard through our doggie door. Dogs can spend time socializing with our dog, Stitch, lounging on the furniture, playing with toys, or just being part of our family's daily routine. We make sure every dog gets lots of attention, affection, and care, while following their individual needs and schedule to help them feel right at home. 🐾❤️
