I structure my daily routine around the pets in my care to ensure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship throughout their stay. Our mornings begin with time outdoors in the yard, allowing everyone to stretch their legs, explore, and start the day with fresh air and playtime. For dogs who enjoy walks, we can also take walks through the nearby canyon trails or campground, depending on their energy level and owner's preferences. I work full-time just a few miles from home and typically leave around 8:00 AM. Because I am so close, I return home during my lunch break to walk, potty, and spend time with boarding pets so they are never left alone for the entire workday. I return home from work around 5:15 PM. Evenings are focused on exercise, playtime, dinner, and relaxing together. Dogs who enjoy walks can head out for an additional walk before sunset, followed by plenty of time to unwind indoors with the family. Before bedtime, everyone gets one last outdoor potty break and play session before settling in for the night. On weekends, I am home the vast majority of the time and enjoy spending extra time with the pets in my care. Aside from church on Sunday mornings and occasional family dinners, my weekends are centered around providing attention, companionship, and a comfortable home environment for my furry guests. My goal is to make your pet's stay feel as much like home as possible, with plenty of love, routine, and individualized care.

Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. Our home is located in beautiful Trabuco Canyon, surrounded by hiking trails and open space, providing plenty of opportunities for outdoor exercise and enrichment. We have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely explore, play, and relax under supervision. I take great care to maintain a pet-friendly environment both inside and outside the home. Our garden is free from chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and other potentially harmful substances, and the yard is regularly inspected to ensure it remains clean and safe for all pets. Inside the home, dogs are treated like family. They are welcome on the furniture, can relax on the sofa, and are free to enjoy the same comforts my own pets do. My goal is to provide a warm, home-like environment where pets feel secure, loved, and part of the household rather than confined to a kennel setting. Because the safety and well-being of all pets in my care is so important, I carefully screen every new guest. I require a Meet & Greet before accepting a first-time booking to ensure that your pet is comfortable in the environment, gets along well with my resident pets, and will be happy during their stay. For the safety of all animals, I am unable to accept dogs that are aggressive toward people or other animals. I also require all dogs to be spayed or neutered and current on vaccinations and flea prevention. I understand how difficult it can be to leave your pet behind, which is why I provide regular updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away knowing your furry family member is safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

The more I know about your pet, the better I can make them feel comfortable, safe, and at home during their stay. I love learning each pet's unique personality, routines, and preferences. Tell me everything! What is their typical daily schedule? What do they eat? Where do they sleep? Do they have favorite toys, treats, games, or walking routes? Do they love belly rubs, ear scratches, or simply being near their people? I also like to know about any quirks, fears, or habits that might help me care for them more effectively. Are they nervous during thunderstorms? Do they have separation anxiety? Are there certain sounds, people, or situations that make them uncomfortable? Have they ever escaped a yard, jumped a fence, or shown resource guarding behaviors? For senior pets or pets with medical needs, please share any medications, mobility concerns, dietary restrictions, or special care instructions. My goal is to keep your pet's routine as consistent as possible and provide the same level of care and attention they receive at home. Every pet is different, and I truly enjoy getting to know what makes each one special. The more details you share, the better I can ensure your pet has a happy, stress-free stay while you're away.
A typical day
I strive to make every pet's stay feel as comfortable and familiar as possible by maintaining their normal routine whenever I can. During the work week, dogs start their day with a morning walk, potty break, and some outdoor time before breakfast and my departure for work. Because I work just a few miles from home, I return during my lunch break for another walk, potty break, playtime, and plenty of attention. In the evenings, we enjoy more outdoor time, walks as requested, dinner, and time to relax together inside the house. Dogs are supervised while playing in our fenced yard and are welcome to join the family indoors, whether that's lounging on the sofa, relaxing on a dog bed, or simply hanging out wherever the action is. Throughout the home, you'll find comfortable dog beds, toys, and cozy places to nap. This is not a kennel environment—boarding pets are treated like members of the family and are welcome on the furniture if that's what they're accustomed to at home. Every dog is different, so I tailor their day to their individual needs, energy level, and routine. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, lots of playtime, or simply curling up for a nap, I'll do my best to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved during their stay.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up around veterinary medicine, animal rescues and foster pets, and our home has always been filled with furry family members. Caring for pets isn't just something I do - it's something I've loved my entire life. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior pets requiring extra attention. I am comfortable administering medication, injections, and other special care. If your pet has medical needs, mobility challenges, or a unique routine, I'm happy to discuss how I can help keep them comfortable and maintain their schedule while you're away. At home, I have Lucky, my 14-year old Maltipoo, along with our cats Hannah, Nina Marie and Monkey. Because my own pets are the center of our family, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your own furry family. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, low-stress environment where your pets feel comfortable, secure, and cared for as if they were my own. Important Information • I work outside the home during weekdays. Pickup and drop-off times are generally available between 7:00–8:00 AM and 5:30–7:00 PM. Alternative times may occasionally be accommodated with advance notice but cannot be guaranteed. • For the health and safety of all pets in my care, dogs should be current on flea prevention. If fleas are discovered after drop-off, I will notify you immediately and arrange treatment for everyone in my care at an additional expense. • Please provide your pet's regular food and treats during their stay. Maintaining their normal diet helps prevent digestive upset and keeps picky eaters happy and comfortable. • Additional fees may apply for senior pets or pets requiring specialized medical care, medications, or extra supervision. Please contact me before booking so we can discuss your pet's specific needs. • Unfortunately, I am unable to accommodate pets with ongoing incontinence issues or pets that rely on pee pads for routine elimination.
