I'm an animal lover through and through! I pay close attention to behavior and body language, so I can catch what a pet's really telling me, whether that's stress, excitement, or just wanting some space. I love getting creative with enrichment too: calming music, puzzle-style treats, or whatever helps a pet feel most at ease. Every animal is different, and I take the time to learn what makes each one comfortable. My challenge is to be best friends by the end of the visit!

I treat your home like I'd want mine treated; respecting boundaries, keeping things secure, and sticking closely to your pet's routine to keep their stress low. Happy to grab your mail, take out the trash, or handle any small tasks that keep your home running smoothly while you're away. I'm attentive to behavior changes and won't hesitate to reach out if something seems off. Your pet's safety and comfort come first, always.

Katie is an amazing dog sitter, sends frequent updates played with my dog often. Made sure my dog wasn't left alone for extended periods of time as well as attempting new things to help my dog not be anxious while i was gone 6 days. Will always reccomend Katie for others to use and will use her anytime I can!
Katie has watched my two pups on many occasions. Our youngest pup is very skiddish and takes forever to warm up to new people. Well apparently Katie is the exception! Katie had him sleeping in her lap by the end of the first day! Katie has a way with animals. She is kind and has a very positive energy. She is reaponsible, reliable and very caring. My pups miss her when she leaves!

Schedule
I work a hybrid, mostly remote job, meaning your pet gets real company, not just quick check-ins. I'm flexible with routines and happy to work around walk times, feeding schedules, or whatever keeps their day feeling normal while you're away. (One note: I'll need WiFi access to work during sits.) I'm a corporate girlie in my 30's who lost my soul pet. I'm not quite ready for a new fur baby, so Rover gives me a place for my animal love to go! I especially love overnight sits. I feel like I'm on a mini vacation in an air bnb with bonus pet cuddles!

- There's no such thing as TMI. Tell me everything! Are there any areas they're not allowed in? Can they have people food, and do they have allergies or medications I should know about? Do they have a favorite spot to be pet, a favorite sleeping spot, or a favorite toy? What's your typical routine together: do they expect walks or outside time at a certain time of day? Do they know any commands? The more I know about their day-to-day, the better I can keep things normal for them and lower their stress. Note - I unfortunately have a terrible needle phobia and cannot care for pets with this need.
