Professional pet sitter specializing in cat sitting, dog walking, almost overnight vacation care, and extended daytime support. Hi there, pet parents! My name is Katie, and I’m a professional pet sitter with over 10 years of experience, as well as 9 years of experience as a missing pet recovery specialist. I’m excited to share that I’ve recently expanded my schedule to offer a wider range of services, including cat sitting, dog walking, almost overnight vacation care, and extended daytime care. With my background in both pet sitting and missing pet recovery, I have firsthand knowledge of what it takes to keep your pet safe while you’re away. Whether you’re at work, play, or on vacation, your pet’s safety is my top priority. I’m well versed in animal behavior and will make sure your pets are comfortable and happy in your absence. I know how stressful it can be for pets to be away from their owners, and for owners to be away from their pets, so I’m committed to providing the best care possible for both you and your pets. A large portion of my work is cat care, with many repeat clients whose cats do best staying in their own home, as well as those owners with dogs who are newly adopted, shy, or benefit from calm, fear free care. I do not offer traditional overnight stays at this time. Instead, I provide almost overnight care for pets who do well sleeping in their own home and benefit from consistent visits, routine, and reassurance. Booking on Rover To book cat care, please select Drop-In Visits and choose your desired dates and times. To book dog walking, please select Dog Walking and choose your desired dates and times. To book almost overnight care, please select Drop-In Visits, choose three visits per day, and include your preferred times for each visit. To book extended daytime care, please select Drop-In Visits and include a note about what kind of coverage you’re looking for so we can talk further about your pet’s needs and pricing. Katie is absolutely wonderful! She took incredible care of our cat while we were out of town and made sure to play with him plenty. She's incredibly organized and experienced in cat care! She made us feel very confident our cat was in good care while we were gone, and our cat did great under her care!
We have used Katie as our cat sitter for the past couple of years, and she has become someone we trust completely with our beloved, aging cat and our home. As our travel schedule has increased, so has our use of her services—and we couldn’t feel more fortunate to have her! She is 110% reliable, conscientious, and caring. She always goes above and beyond, whether it’s offering to water our plants, helping get our containers out on pickup day, or making an extra visit when our flight is unexpectedly delayed. She is simply always there for us, and we never have to worry. Most importantly, she has developed such a special connection with our cat (who is slow to warm to anyone, but not with Katie!). She provides wonderful, individualized care and has been especially attentive as our cat has recently needed daily medication and some extra TLC. She has also patiently navigated all of the quirky new “happenings” with the litter box, keeping us informed and making sure everything is taken care of. It is clear that she genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibility seriously. Knowing that our cat is not only safe and well cared for, but also receiving affection and attention, gives us tremendous peace of mind when we travel. She deserves all 5 stars—and we would give her 10 if we could! We are incredibly grateful for her dependability, thoughtfulness, and the genuine care she gives our cat. We highly recommend her!

Schedule
I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and vacation pet care, including "almost overnight" and overnight visits when available. I do not board pets at my home. Feel free to request a booking and or drop me a message for more information. I look forward to speaking with you!

- It is very important to know about any medical conditions, physical limitations, or behavioral issues your pet may have. I have worked with a lot of different breeds and temperaments and will tailor visits with all these factors in mind. My goal is to make sure your pet is getting what he or she needs in a safe, fun, and relaxing environment.
