I’ve been dog sitting and dog walking for over 10 years, and it’s something I genuinely love doing. I’ve completed numerous stays through TrustedHousesitters, caring for dogs with all kinds of personalities, routines, and needs. I also work at a dog training facility, so I’m around dogs every day and comfortable handling all sorts of temperaments — from energetic puppies to mellow seniors. I’m very used to working with all types of animals and adapting to whatever their care routine looks like. I’m a college student with a completed bachelor’s degree, and pet care has been the one constant I’ve kept up with throughout school and work because it’s something I truly enjoy. I’m reliable, communicative, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, sticking to a specific routine, or just keeping your pets company, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

Katia is incredibly responsible and hardworking. I am the owner of a service dog, so it’s not very often I need to find pet-sitters to take care of him; I can take him pretty much anywhere I want with little to no issue. However when it’s time to venture out of the country, that’s where my trouble starts. This dog is incredibly important to me, he is my best friend and also my mobility guide, so his health and safety mean the world to me, and I depend on him being healthy and safe in order to live my life. I do not trust dog hotels or kennels with him, since I can never ensure the vaccination status or behavior of other dogs. Its also rather hard for me to trust just any dog sitter, as he has a rather strict diet and lives by a certain set of rules in order to maintain the discipline and focus for him to work for me. Katia has been great in ensuring he sticks to his diet and exercise plans, and has given me peace of mind with his safety. She’s also always been kind and courteous with my home, and I’m so glad I’ve been able to rely on her and will continue to do so when the need arrives.
To whom it may concern, When I heard about Rover I immediately knew that my Daughter Katia would be a perfect fit for this industry. She has always loved animals and displays such a strong sense of nurturing and caring for them. She is a dog magnet everywhere she goes, it’s like they can see through her and can sense the true love and joy they bring to her. Katia not only has a passion for animals but her work ethic, dedication and passion make her extremely valuable and reliable. Super excited to see her turn the page and open this chapter in her life.
I highly recommend katia as a dog sitter. She cared for my Maltese and Sheepadoodle and was always dependable, caring, and attentive with both dogs.
